TBE last year they GA e the smallpox vaccine was 1971. I happen to go to Europe that year and the vaccine was required for re entry into the US. I may still have some immunity.

I don’t think any nation would be foolhardy enough to splash a biological agent on the U.S., while we’re still reeling from COVID.

Uncle Sam is a lot of things, but one thing he’s not is forgetful. We have things in storage that everybody else forgot about decades ago. Old weapon systems, old specialty warfare programs ... they’re still around, somewhere. All of them.

If Uncle Sam felt certain that somebody used biological weapons on us, e.g. released a disease in the U.S., expect there to be a retaliation in kind, though you will never hear about. Spooky people who never talk about their jobs would seek vengence.
