No, I think Devin Nunes & Co are legit. The Dems tried to destroy him for his tenacity.
Why has Trump not called Wray into the Oval Office to make a full and immediate explanation?
This laptop could completely exonerate Trump from the Impeachment charges.
Instead, Trump does nothing.
Incomprehensible negligence.
Yawn...
To what end? So the pubbies can continue to fool the people who have voted them in office cycle after cycle and not really do anything about this corruption?
Their strategy has gotten us NOTHING!
Theyre busy tending to unicorns and polishing rainbows.
Disband the FBI. There are zero honorable FBI agents.
They’ve taken the century off.
The Clinton Foundation? The uranium deal? The ambassador murdered in Libya?
My opinion - none of those would have been easy to prove, so, maybe it was just a campaign ploy for Trump?
However, since then, the discovery of Hillary's private (no FOIA) non-secure server for State Department email would have sent ANY Republican Secretary of State straight to a federal prison.
Bottom Line...
There are more than fifty FOIA requests and lawsuits pending against the Executive Branch on at least a half dozen criminal issues. Some involve Hillary and her server. Most of them involve executives or former executives at State, DOJ, FBI, and the Intelligence Community, and even Dr. Fauci’s interaction with and funding for the Wuhan Flu Lab.
Trump could order the release of ALL those documents. He can probably pull most of those documents up on his Oval Office computer and publish them instantly on the whitehouse.gov website.
Instead, he does nothing.
I do not even have a theory for Trump's FOIA indolence.
Incomprehensible negligence is the best I can come up with.
GOP Senator Ron Johnson Sends Letter to FBI Director Wray Demanding Answers on Hunter Bidens Laptop
That is sort of like filling out your Christmas List to Santa.
It was in this context that Trump said in the debate, "you would be in jail."
As difficult as a conviction in a Federal Ct. in Washington might be, that crime required no intent, despite James Comey's opining to the contrary, and would be very difficult for a jury not to convict especially if that count were combined with several other counts which might require intent for guilt but which would circumstantially buttress the entire case.
It is my view that the president's reluctance to prosecute Hillary missed an opportunity that probably would have obviated the entire Mueller investigation and perhaps have saved the House of Representatives.
Incompetence is one judgment one can reach, bad advice another, a desire to appease the left a third, or just plain bad judgment.
Somehow, I thought that story broke a few weeks before the 2016 election.
Total memory failure - weird, since I am still reading about the Clinton server almost every week on Judicial Watch.
