Great sign for the delivery of Virginia to Trump.
He’s the man!
Virginia is now Maryland South. No way Trump wins this state. He’s more likely to win Minnesota than Virginia.
I don't know if we have a shot at VA, but I'm hoping.
Virginia is for Trumpers.
Maybe. Maybe not. But still counts toward the popular vote which is important.
I also voted early in person in Tucson. Dropped off my absentee ballot at the registrar’s office with a policeman guarding the ballot box. A steady stream of seasoned citizens also voted.
Donald Trump is coming to Tucson Monday morning.
He’s right, we all have to get others to vote for Trump because if we do he will win by a landslide which is what we need.
It's going to take a lot more than that, FRiend. VA has gone from one of the most solidly GOP states to now having a Dem governor, house and senate.
Took my 2 elderly parents to vote in-person yesterday (87 & 97). Needed ‘curbside’ service for one of them, but the county poll folks/volunteers were super nice. They asked if I wanted to see the vote actually ‘cast’, so I followed them inside from the curb & watched it go through the machine.
We have also made sure that two relatives in college have absentee ballots & can vote. One will vote Trump for sure ... the other would vote Bernie if he were running, but he’s not. She graduated in December & is working her first job - that might be a dose of reality & disliking Biden, she may go Trump ... or she’ll probably sit out.
The line was pretty long (made longer by the 6’ physical distancing markers), but folks seemed very patient, & the highly organized process kept things moving nicely. It was a rainy, nasty day - figured that might cut down on the crowd & it probably did, but there were still plenty of folks there. In talking to the person in front of me & seeing the folks voting, I think people are not trusting the mail-in voting. The guy in front of me had several friends who mailed in ballots a good while ago - they have yet to show up online (where you can check that your ballot was received) & they are getting very concerned. He was voting in-person for that very reason - making sure his vote was counted - same with the folks.
Exactly.
I’ll be making sure my wife gets to the polls because otherwise, she wouldn’t be bothered but I know she’ll vote a straight repub ticket. Everyone I know who actually votes, will be voting pretty much the same and definitely for Trump. The ones I know that don’t vote, would likely vote for free shit aka dems so I’m glad they don’t vote.
Unfortunately, it's likely that Joe Biden will win the popular vote even if Donald Trump wins the Electoral College again.
Take your negativity elsewhere!
Nice.
In the past 5 elections, the Republican won the Electoral College three times but only won the popular vote once (2004).
We did that yesterdays, but I took 4 others with me. 2 family and 2 friends.
Get out the vote.
