On a personal note, for a time, I had issues with calcium build up in the soft tissues at the back of both heels and in the rotor cuff of my right shoulder. The build-up was showing up on Xrays in both areas.
An orthopedic surgeon I saw about the condition wanted to do surgery, of course. My research of calcium build-up in soft tissues led to vitamin K and EDTA (chelates calcium from the body) as possible remedies.
I took EDTA until I no longer noticed the pain. Since then, I still take D3 with K2 and haven't had any pain issues in either location since.
You are welcome. I try to mention K2 when the subject comes up, since it’s not really in the foods that are emphasized by the low-fat govt. pyramid. And not really much in the meats unless they are grass fed.
