AMERICANS HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS IDEOLOGICALLY NOR POLITICALLY DIVIDED ... IS THE DIVISION TOO DEEP? HAVE WE REACHED A POINT OF NO RETURN IN AMERICAN SOCIETY?

Are we now in a time of such division and separation from each other in American Society that there’s no chance of unity, for reconciliation, nor coming together to find the simplest and most basic of common ground? Are the differences between Republican and Democrat, Liberal and Conservative, Leftist and Traditionalist, Patriot and Globalist too deep for any possible reconciliation?

I do not see the union of 50 states lasting much longer. I’ve lived my whole life in New England. For the good of the country, this region should be pushed out and forced to become an independent People’s Republic. I’ll move to America.

If Trump wins the violence will increase.

If Trump loses the attempts to oppress conservatives and subvert the Constitution will be met with serious "resistance".

On the other hand the pusillanimous RINOs stand for nothing either except globalism and crony capitalism and if they need to give socialists something to keep the peace, then that is the cost of business - all borne by working Americans. The problem is the division isn't left vs right. It's takers vs producers.

Too many in this country are followers. Yes, the people are divided, but only because they are told to be by the media and elected officials.

If not for the divisive strategies of the Media and leftist politicians, this country would heal and prosper. But there is power in that division so unity is the LAST thing the left wants in America.

No, America will not heal or unify until the socialist and radicals are driven out of power.

The real question is, ‘Will America ever rid itself of that cancer?”.

I doubt it. Just look have fast we folded over COVID mandates and accepted the “New Normal”.

WORST CASE SCENARIO GAME PLAYING

If Trump loses the election and the left gains power:

The right will meekly accept the results of the election, there will be no civil unrest. The left will invest Washington and initiate a series of repressive ordinances against liberty and property. Still, the center-right will not resort to violence and revolt. Many on the right will be co-opted. As the left gains more and more power it will begin to eat its own. An obvious example will be striving for control of the Regency which is the Biden presidency. In the course of these strivings, the Constitution will be commonly understood to have been displaced. At some point economic and political dystopia along the lines of Venezuela will seize America. After that, the deluge.

If Trump wins the election and the left does not gain more power:

The eruption on the left will be far more violent than the protests which occurred in the wake of Trump's first election. Expect terrorist attacks which might descend into guerrilla actions in which the perpetrators operate in sanctuary cities or retreat into sanctuary cities as they flee federal authorities. If the attacks become savage enough and widespread enough, the goal of forcing the federal government to engage at the level of martial law might be realized. At that point expect widespread civil strife and violence as we have seen in places like Iraq.

The turning point:

The matter will be decided by the American military when it intervenes at a crisis point on one side or the other. Where and on whose behalf the military intervenes is simply not clear.
