What do you mean by the election "being called", and what does that have to do with the State Legislatures appointing Electors and teh Electoral College electing a President on December 15?

One possible hitch: “Under the 12th Amendment, the President MUST be a candidate who has received at least one electoral vote, and is one of the top three candidates who received electoral votes.” What if one faithless Elector votes for Nanzi? Wouldn’t California (as an example) have to challenge or forbid that in order for that vote to be invalid? Just asking, because I put literally nothing past these hungry-for-power Leftists.
Of course, even with that nonsense (if it is permitted), Nanzi still wouldn’t end up as POTUS - but, again, I put nothing past these people.
Yes, the House votes for President if the E.C. can’t/won’t/doesn’t. But each state gets only one vote. If the state’s Representatives are evenly split, the state gets no votes.
If a faithless elector was going to vote for someone other than a real candidate, then why wouldn’t they pick someone more credible than that old hag?

One should note, it’s not the current crew who arrives in January....it’s the newly elected crew. So I would expect around 27 to 29 states to have adequate numbers to win the balance for Trump, unless those folks aren’t proclaimed the winner in their districts, or delayed because of re-count problems.
My belief is that this recount and delay business is really the primary aim of the DNC.

im pretty sure that is not the constituional process. although it becomes murky.
first the electoral college has to vote. states who cant assign ec get no vote. if nobody gets a majority of ec, because of non votes, the presidency goes to the house, the vp to thr senate. in the house each state gets one vote. current house ther are 25 majority republican, 24 maj. democrat, and one 50/50. you need 26, so they might deadlock. senate might vote pence.
curent ores might stayvtil march, at that point vp becomes pres.
but ststes might just try to place electors. nothinhg requires a popular vote for electors,and im surprised democrat states havent moved to chsnge laws to allow the legislaturecto appoint elector if the vote cant be counted.
one thing is certain, after november, nobody will trust our elections again, the democrats have ruined it.
Of course they'd have to keep this plot a secret, because otherwise two Trump electors could vote for someone else (it wouldn't matter who as long as both voted for the same person) and that would exclude Pelosi.
