The State of Texas is not on the list of battleground states at Real Clear Politics but Democrats in Texas and in Washington, D.C. are fighting as though it is. On Tuesday a new hashtag popped up as trending on Twitter – #TrumpKilledTexas. The message is that the bad Orange Man has blood on his hands.

Texas is a solid Republican as it has every been and will continue to Republican for the next century.

In politics, Texas is only a place where Democrats waste campaign cash.

Bush League Republicans only care about one thing:

Completing the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA)

Flooding the country with foreigners to dilute the votes of citizens to steal our country from us.

The same people who kept telling us we needed to pull the lever for the Bushes out of loyalty to the GOP. Can Texas please end the political career of George Prescott Bush?

You can bet the farm I’ll never vote for a Bush again!!

The linked HotAir article doesn’t name these ‘former Bush staffers who join w/Dems...’, but they link to a Dallas Morning News article - which is paywalled - that does.

Do you happen to have the names of this group?

The HotAir article mentions a Houston woman, as the organizer. A now stay-at-home mom. I think the group’s name is Alumni of 43 for Biden. Something like that.

One would think he would have the decency to give back to the voters, who elected him, by supporting the Republican candidates they choose now.

Hah! Bush made it clear after he won a second term that he has nothing but contempt for the GOP base. He demanded the base to bend over and take amnesty and got publicly angry that they fought back. So he pushed for it again and again and again, wasting his entire second term on trying to force all of us to eat an excrement sandwich and he resents us all mightily for denying him the only thing he really wanted out of his Presidency other than endless war.

Bush will never do anything because he wants to reward the GOP base. Quite the opposite.

I think Texas is already blue. It is only a matter of a few election cycles to make it absolute. I blame GOP and the influx of liberal refugees.

Texas will almost definitely stay blue for a while. But the cities are getting redder and redder, And something needs to be done.

Really, I think electoral votes should go like every other representation. Split each States' EC votes in half. Then those are determined, half by the State's popular vote, and half by the county votes. Or split it with Reps' EC number based on counties, then the two from the Senators based on popular. This'll really help dilute the overbearing influence of big cities. Imagine if all the electoral votes of Washington didn't go to Seattle. Portland didn't pick for Oregon. Detroit/Michigan. Chicago/Illinois. NYC for NY.

99% of elected pols want the position and power not do do the tight thing, but soley for power. Except folks like Trump and Jordan et al.

Bush wanted the power and prestige, he was not a conservative who wanted to make positive change.

I see nothing to indicate that is the reality in Texas.

Exaactly, Democrats/Leftists are a cancer and are spreading throughout the country as a cancer spreads throughout a body unless it is attacked and checked.

If they call themselves conservatives then they are the most selfish idiots in history. They will their hate for Trump result in more liberal judges, more wars, more free speech suppression and attacks on the second amendment?

....and to pour gas on the fire, a cutout of shrub and spouse is right behind home plate at the new Texas Rangers ballpark and you can’t watch the game without seeing them every pitch.
Makes me puke.

What part of that do you not agree with? Trump took Texas 52-43%. Clinton took most border counties, and Dallas/Houston/San Antonio/Austin. Collin County used to be one of the most Republican counties in Texas, and now they're pulling barely 55% for Pubbies. The crazy growth up there has taken that county from a nice dark blue to a bright baby blue.

Hell, Cruz barely managed to beat the fake Mexican! Granted, Cruz didn't campaign much and Beta had tons of outside $$, but it was still way closer that it should have been. Beta pulled in over 4MM votes, the most a Democrat has ever gotten in Texas history.
