This demonstrates that Jesus Christ is perfect.
How He can love someone like Don Lemon is something that mere mortals cannot do.
And the fact that Jesus can love without expecting anything in return from people who hate him is further proof of his perfection.

The guy does not know why Jesus was perfect...the perfect sacrifice. If he had not been perfect, we all would still be lost.
