The doctor is not licensed in Alabama. He can’t practice medicine, even tele-medicine, across state lines. He has to have reasonable evidence that he only conducts business in his state.

We have the same issues with some of our patients who live outside of our state.

Corsi has a telehealth business that Zelenko is consulting on.

I guess he has Drs that are licensed in multiple states. Not really sure what he is doing.

Right. The doctor in GA has to be credentialed with insurance providers in Alabama. I think most hospitals get credentialing on physicians set up for all bordering states, or states that are close enough where they get significant numbers of patients from.

Didn’t t the CARES act essentially federalize medical licenses. I think we can now practice across state lines. I know lots of critical care units said licensing not an issue any more because they are good in alll states.
