GREAT NEWS! Number of Cononavirus Deaths Down to Lowest Levels Since Beginning of Pandemic – Media Silence
Gateway Pundit ^ | 07/05/2020 | Joe Hoft

More great news ignored by the media.

The number of coronavirus related deaths in the US on the 4th of July reached the lowest numbers since the beginning of the China coronavirus pandemic back in March.

The number of deaths attributed to the China cornonavirus (both actually tested and presumed) reached the lowest number of cases since the beginning of the crisis. On Saturday July 4th the number of cases recorded dropped to 254 deaths.

March 23, 2020, was the last time time the number of deaths for both actual and presumed cases of the China coronavirus were as low as 254, when the total number of deaths reached 181 nationwide.

This is great news for America as the number of deaths is decreasing daily.

However, the story in the liberal and corrupt MSM is that the number of cases is increasing. What the media won’t tell you is that the CDC and states are now counting those who had the coronavirus and those who have the coronavirus in these daily tests. But the number of deaths is at all time lows no doubt due to the faulty counting.

It’s more than clear that the MSM will lie to diminish any good news in the Trump years. They did this mostly by not sharing the good news. Today is good news. It’s long past time to open up the US economy for good.

Heh, they’re promoting the increase in “cases”. And therefore furthering our convictions that yes, they are THAT stupid when it comes to real science.

Funny, science is a one syllable word. Should at least be minimally understandable to a mere journalist.

Oh, forgot, it requires that stuff called math.

Dollars to donuts says that anyone who tests positive, even if asymptomatic, is considered a “case”.

From what I read the more contagious the less lethal. Being that the more lethal a disease is the host is less likely to spread the disease.

A high infection rate and low death rate is a good sign for a disease with no cure. The goal should be to keep it under a balanced growth control. Until a majority of the people least at risk have been exposed and made immune and the time it will take to develop a vaccine.

Since is one syllable. Science is two. So is baby - the perfect word for the perpetually aggrieved.

“they are THAT stupid”

It is not stupidity, it is propaganda.

What happened? Did all the nursing home patients in New York already die?

MEDIA? How about PROPAGANDA silence on any good news for 45, Joe? It’s how they roll...and continue to roll. EVERY DAY the cacophony of phonies is LOUD.

I’ve become extremely cynical of any charts, graphs, or other statistics coming from the “experts”. Our daily birdcage liner publishes county-by-county numbers for California as well as state-by-state for the rest of the country. There is a notation that some counties report differently from others. Some counties lump all of the weekend numbers in the Monday report, some report daily, some report with a one-day lag. Also, some counties report recoveries, others do not.

In the end, it becomes increasingly confusing to compare apples to apples, which allows the media, both Lame Stream and semi-legitimate to spin things to their target audience with little fear of someone actually calling them on it.

How many among those 254 deaths are people who were shot in da hood..or died from alcohol poisoning or of something that would have won them a Darwin award while being Covid positive ?

According to recent CDC ruling, a person counts as a probable case if they have been in contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus. The way it’s being handled is definitely political.

Most of my relatives are absolutely panicking now. This disease is SPIKING. It’s SPIKING I tell you! So many cases! We’ve never seen so many cases! It’s sweeping the nation!

I stopped talking politics with relatives about 20 years ago. Permissible conversational topics keep shrinking. I’m pretty much down to: “Nice weather we’ve been having lately, eh?”

No cure?

Then how did all those hundreds of thousands of people who have recovered, recover?

The “no cure” verbiage is the talking point these tyrant bureaucrats are using to keep the mask wearing sheep panicked and submissive.

You know what also doesn’t have a “cure”?

The common cold. We have an immune system for a reason.

Yes, the deaths for July 4 were very low. And we are slowly drifting down in the death rate and have been for 10 weeks or so. The correlation with the so called, now calculated, infection rate is approximately zero.

But don’t take the 254 deaths on July 4th to the bank quite yet. Right now we are running at about 520 deaths per day on average and one really good day will lower that for a bit. And we are down from a 2000 per day peak. We are winning.

But look at the plots and you will see a 7 day pattern that repeats. It goes something like this: LLHHHHH with 2 low days every Saturday and Sunday and higher the rest of the week.

So you can expect the deaths today, July 5, to also be low but will jump back closer to 500 or more on the report for Monday July 6.

My guess is that this is just the result of under reporting or not reporting deaths on weekends and making it up when hospital personnel go back to work on Monday.

Our local paper - the Charlotte Disturber (Observer) had a headline today stating the number of daily new cases dropped over the weekend, and explaining the reduction away as due to reduced testing over the holiday weekend.

Care to guess how many times over the past 3 weeks they attributed the INCREASE in daily new cases to INCREASED testing? Or due to exposures and transmission of the virus during the “peaceful protests” we had?

(If you guess ZERO, then you are smarter than your average newspaper writer!)

Why does FL have 1/2 the cases as NY but only 1/10 the # of deaths?

I look at the same website, and when I post their results I mark the 7 day moving average. It will keep out the Sat-Sun light reporting and if they are heavy from the weekend that effect will also be averaged out. I am not sure about 3 day weekend, but it the Covid has a 7-14 day delay, we should be showing an increase in fatality rates from back around jun 13 when the cases started rising.
