Trump wins in a manner very much like Reagan in 1984.
Nixon in ‘68 is more apropos.
Reagan had a few simple messages. Trump has a thousand, and eyes glaze over. That is the difference.
Can he win with this sage advice? YES!
Reagan was asked by a moderator if he was too old to be president.
Reagan grinned and said, "I give my word, I will not exploit for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience."
Even Mondale laughed out loud....and his campaign manager, Bob Beckel, said he just about went into a coma b/c
he knew the race was won right there and then.......with that brilliant Reagan quip.
