How about can Black America fix itself?
I say they can’t until they rid themselves of the race hustlers, the self-loathing victim-mentality and dysfunctionality that permeates their communities.
They must first rid themselves of the Justus Brothers, support for dims, etc.
Obama fixed Black America.
The black people have entered civilized society and do just fine.
The ghetto trash still run around like savages and want free stuff.
Let them starve. Eventually they will figure it out for themselves.
Only Nixon could go to China.
Only Trump can go to Harlem (forget Compton, it’s too far gone).
Only blacks can fix themselves.
The very last group of people that will help them is the party of slavers, the party of KKK, the party of Jim Crow, the party of segregation. But, hey, if you want to keep trying that approach which has only made things worse for blacks for at least 80 years, go for it. But stop whining about the results.
If blacks do not like their situation, they can look around and assess who is doing well and emulate what works. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Wallow in self pity and blame or pick yourself up and make something positive of yourself.
Nothing and no one, and certainly not enough money will fix a problem that requires a HUGE COLLECTIVE CHANGE in attitude and character.
Probably not. The pathologies in their communities have taken decades to take root.
The real problem is fatherlessness. When their is no strong man in the home, Women become leaders of the family and like it or not, that’s a bad idea.
Sons become wild, daughters have loose morals and continue the cycle.
There are things Trump and the conservatives can do. That conversation they talk about? It needs to happen and be a real, hard talk.
Welfare needs real reform and needs to be about 20% of what it is now. People need to work. They are too tired to screw around and making money as part of the economy.
The church can help but church leaders must quit accepting sin in their churches.
The only way to fix the problem is take over the school system....Start in preschool. and add a year til you get through high school..hire great teachers with great discipline
For fist time offenders
Maybe start a FDR type conservation corps...make them work half a day and education the other half and job training...and send them to midsize cities with a mentor program...Catholic charities and others..
Don’t include Catholic charities. They are too busy pushing illegals down our throats

Trump needs to make his presentation to Black America non-political and as a anti-sales promotion for a hypothetical bad commercial product.
It would go something like this: Do you continue to purchase a bad commercial product (perhaps pick a product category with a hypothetical brand that appeals to blacks and list features that would be bad for blacks) year after year or are you smart enough to to switch to a better brand. Why would you ever continue buying this bad product? At the end of the commercial, suggest that they are doing the same by voting Democrat. Then finish with an an admonition to think about it.
Then get these commercials on shows or streams that would target blacks.

If Blacks followed the Law, quit becoming Drug ADDICTS, picking fights with the Cops and went to School to actually learn how to read and write. They just might build something instead of destroying it!

The only thing Trump can do is remove the economic barriers that have kept the poor stuck in the welfare trap, and he’s already made great strides.
For instance, raising the head of household’s standard deduction and child tax credit on the 1040.
Before Trump’s tax reforms, as soon as a parent’s earnings went above the official poverty line, there was a sort of ‘donut hole’ where around 30 cents out of every dollar was taken back in taxes, up until about $30K.
This encouraged people to work less to maintain eligibility for various government benefits, which were more lucrative and nontaxable.
Only Black America can fix Black America but I fear we dont have the time for that. I think terrible times are coming.

I shut up a co-worker complaining about all his problems when I asked him how much of it was his own fault. That was over 25 years ago.
