The underlying problem is a departure from Jesus Christ. That will always lead, at least within the context of the modern world, to a departure from Truth. Words will no longer mean what they plainly mean; concepts will be subject to deconstruction (a parlor game made possible by the rejection of Truth), statutes will become subject to “interpretations” that pervert them, etc. Depart from Christ (Logos), and this is what you get. Every. Single. Time.

This decision is against common sense, against the plain meaning of even horrible statutory language that no sane group should have passed. It is an abomination. It sounds like something from a religious document that tries to get around God’s Word. Maybe we need more followers of Jesus Christ on the SCOTUS and not fewer.

Another believer on the Supreme Court might get us some sensible decisions. Until then, depending on their decisions is just not worth the chance involved & this ought not to be. There are some on that court that just ought not to be there.
