Mayor Bill de Blasio on Sunday fired back at Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s threat to shut down Manhattan again if the city didn’t enforce social-distancing better — saying through a rep that “imprisoning people” isn’t the answer. “We must balance safety with people’s need to reopen their businesses,” a City Hall spokeswoman said in an e-mail.
“We had social distancing ambassadors out all weekend distributing masks and encouraging people to disperse after making their purchases.
“These businesses are allowed to be open per the Governor’s guidelines and we don’t believe imprisoning people or taking away their livelihood is the answer.”

I was a Flubro from the start, but held my fire until some semi-reliable statistics started coming in. You notice that I say “semi-reliable.”
Anyway, here’s what I found running some of the latest numbers in my current home state of Florida.
At the end of last week there were 69,000 cases of Wu flu confirmed out of a population of 22 million.
That works out to a bit less than one third of one percent.
Of course, the enemedia is trumpeting a spike in Florida cases. And I still see a lot of masks every time I go to Publix or Aldi.

I don't think there's even enough State Police to enforce this crap. And it's possible the NYPD wouldn't even waste their time. Manhattan D.A. Cyrus Vance made a terrible mistake letting all the looters and arsonists off. He screwed the cops who brought them in, and he screwed the people of New York City...the same ones Cuomo is threatening to arrest. Good luck with that. Wanna talk about discriminatory arrest practices.
