Do not take your eyes off the secondary game the Democrats are playing - seizing control of the Senate, while maintaining the control of the House. That is the whole thrust behind the “mail-in” balloting that Nancy Pelosi is trying to sneak through in this most recent $3 TRILLION bill just passed through the House, and with a sly hand at trying to get it through the Senate. Stuff the Christmas Tree so full of trinkets, that the somewhat less egregious aspects included will somehow slip through, providing some 60-70% of the otherwise outrageous demands made overall.
The Senate would do well to bottle this bill up in committee until well after the election. Or just table it, and let it die a natural death on the shelf.

I don’t think this bill will go anywhere in the Senate. Even the usual “bi-partisan consensus seekers” (aka the GOPe) are unhappy with it.

Partner, I think you have brilliantly come up with a solution to this friggin mess. Great post.
The Republicans just ought to table this in the Senate.
Mitch McConJob should tell the Senate that we will look over what the House has sent us and then return it back to the house and after it comes back to the Senate he should table the bill until after the election.
