It’s crazy that we have to think about these things in these terms. But given this Justice Department, and this attorney general, and the way he has treated the criminal law, is something that is to be applied at will, purely to serve the president’s interests, when we hear that the search warrant for Senator Burr, chair of the Intelligence Committee, would have to have been approved at the highest levels of this particular Justice Department, we have to worry about it.

Perhaps, Senator Burr violated a law and this investigation is a consequence of Burr’s alleged bad act.
Wow! The man told his friends to see sell stock based upon secret information he obtained in congress.
He should get what coming to him. Just like the others who ‘warned’ friends and family.

They have Burr’s phone and have subpoenaed his communications and documents. If he is connected to the Russia hoax they’ll know.
And after 3 1/2 years we still don’t have Flynn’s original 302, Mueller scope memo in full, etc., etc. Where there is a will, there is a way.
A RINO like Burr is the most dangerous of swamp creatures. Hope he is forced to resign. Notice no action on Feinstein and the hooker-looking senator from Georgia whose husband is president of the NYSE and did WAY more wrong than Burr did.
I could almost agree with Maddow. It’s JUST like the Republicans to retaliate for the Democrats investigating a Republican by investigating another Republican.
So is she saying that the FBI is investigating him because Trump is angry at his committees investigation of Trump or is she saying that the FBI is investigating because his committee is investigating the FBI?
Maddow just wants to say “Russia”.
Hence the need for FBI to remove Burr, and insider trading is but a trump up charge.

I could never understand how a clean cut, relatively good looking young man, who is clearly articulate, could ever be a progressive.

If Tillis loses, what chance would the GOP (even the RINO division) have of holding Burr’s seat in a Special Election?

I watched her show once. A bunch of repetitive tripe that pretends to be academic. I can’t believe she has 3 million watching nightly. I’m still trying to get that hour back. A complete mess of a show.
The two women are also being investigated.
