Yeah: “participate”.

I’d like to see the limits lifted. And soon.
Why attack me?

The virus has a say in our response Can’t just ignore that.

Memorial Day is the beginning of summer business activity. Pence appears to signaling that the country will be largely open for summer and that is good news.

8 out of 50.

Many areas can open up soon. Some can’t.
I like July 4th because EVERYwherre in US will be in control.

8 out of 50 that did not lockdown and still ended up super low coronavirus infections and deaths, with their economies intact.
By Contrast, the states with the harshest lockdowns like New York New Jersey and Michigan also have by far the highest numbers of infections and deaths, with NY/NJ alone accounting for over 50% of all deaths. Lockdowns don’t work. Period.
End the lockdowns NOW .

Yeah, we’ll agree that different areas had different, appropriate, responses
For different situations.
For the whole country, which July4th represents IMO, that means different responses.

So, I like July4th.
Memorial Day isn’t bad.

If you didn’t mean to post idiocy to me privately you should say so.
I don’t hold grudges.

“The Lockdowns were for the purpose of getting ahead of the curve to prepare the health system for the massive spike-which never came. It was not to live in fear of the virus until it was eliminated.”

Exactly.

“Summary of 2020:
We are at “war” sitting on our couches due to a virus named after a Mexican beer that came from a bat or pangolin with two superpowers flaming each other on Twitter about who started it and the French are recommending smoking to keep yourself healthy.”

Outdoor fun looks good in a month or so. I’ll probably go with picnic dinners from home, though, and avoiding spending any unnecessary time in public buildings.

We should wear plain, white T-shirts to get plenty of sun. The soft pack of cigarettes can rolled up in the sleeve of the T-shirt, while we get plenty of exercise to lose weight. Maybe catch up on some work under the hoods of our cars out in our yards. “Back to the future.” ;D

I don’t knoew about the “soft pack”. Sreems to me the hard pack is the better choice.

Okay, there’s something to argue about. Let’s bicker. ;D

Really, you’re right about the 4th. If we have enough common sense as a nation of people and don’t continue to indulge Slobovian behaviors and worries about appearances, we’ll essentially stop the disease by then. I’ll wear a masks. Masks were invented by western culture. Positive attitudes and hard work will get us back to prosperity.

Globalism and the so-called service industry economy are failing us, but we can start producing more useful things and get richer as a country again. Let’s go from vice, gluttony and sloth in crowded indoor spaces to roomy shops, the great outdoors and great products. Make America Useful Again.

“Let’s bicker”...
Bless your heart.

IDK.
Seems to me we should all be focused on how to “open”.

"Seems to me we should all be focused on how to 'open'."

That's pretty much it, I think.

SD may not even have 9 cv deaths. If a person dies of anything but cv, but has cv in their system and experienced no symptoms of it, it is counted as a cv death. That is a CDC directive. How can we trust any of the numbers were told?

gee thanks

Our original freedom date was today but Gov Parsons extended it to May 3rd 11:59pm.

That site says after June 10th relaxing social distancing may be possible. Hope Gov Parsons doesn’t see that page.
