Sure. Why not?
Out of their own pockets if they feel that strongly about it.

Sink or swim, baby, just like the rest of us.

Perhaps if they would reframe from just repeating ChiCom news and DNC war room talking points and start to actually report the news without bias and agenda people would start buying their scribbling again.

Why would we want to save the perpetrators of this scam. Let them be hoisted by their own petards.

Even Buffet has given up on newspapers selling his Berk positions to another firm.
My local rag (Omaha World Herald) is on its last legs. Paper has shrunk in size and scope relying mostly on syndicated material and snippy editorials. Workers have formed a union but that’s nothing more than rearranging the deck chairs of the Titanic.
Morale is bad there. Wouldn’t surprise me if they go all digital in the next 1-2 years. “Printed mass media” will become a boutique industry for the nostalgic and sentimental (like comic books).

Now, wait a minute. You mean Jeff Bezos (Washington Post), Carlos Slim and the Sulzberger family (NYTimes), Michael Bloomberg (Bloomberg News), etc., etc, cant afford to support their news outlets? And want the US tax payers to do it?

Watch them quietly stick funding for these Bolshevik liars into the next funding bill or stimulus.
