Warming at this time of year is known as Spring.
I had to stop listening to poor Joe. He’s been so wrong about my part of the country, for months.
I have been a faithful listener to Joe’s free abbreviated summaries for years. Now,
he is no longer posting to his YouTube website and I’m suffering withdrawal. I hope he is still offering a mini free service. My interest in weather is not commercial but I have always been a citizen weather aficionado. Yes, he missed on the long term winter prediction badly this winter, but on average he will be my go to weatherman. The guy is a weather geek. He has always been into professional forecasting since he acquired the skill and knowledge from his dad. Thanks for bringing topic up.
Listened to him for years. He has a terrible cold and snow bias for two reasons. First, he personally like snow and talks about that a lot. Second,he has a subscriber website that also attracts weather hobbiest with a similar passion for snow and extreme weather.
He biases his forecasts to keep the hobbiests interested and subscribing, even at the risk of harming his own forecasting reputation.
I’ve seen him bomb out on many forecasts over the years, but this winter has to be one of his worst.
I’ve watched him for years and think that he has been accurate more times than he and the Weatherbell team has been wrong. I also like that he will admit when he has been wrong and then explains the “why” of what actually happened versus his forecast.
