FReeperism?
Stick with the fig Newtons, less pork fat.
Im going to show my ignorance of this topic but why cant individuals buy their own generators and hook them up to natural gas?
"Now where did I lay my shipping relationship?"
ay ay ay AI.
Mrs. 2ndDivisionVet was a Prime member long before the term was commonplace. She sometimes gets shipments two hours after ordering, faster than many grocery shopping delivery services. I’ve never heard her complain about misrouted shipments. We’re both amputees in wheelchairs so that everything that comes into our house is delivered.
Because it would be much more expensive than buying electricity off the grid, I would think. Pretty sure that’s how emergency generators for hospitals and other vital institutions work.
Scientology.
Gas makes an escargot. To make a Le Car go usually requires a tow truck.
Yet you cared enough to log the first reply to this thread.
“Sometimes Ill have escargot, but never a slug...”
A slug is basically escargot without a shell. Escargot is most delicious when baked in the oven with butter and cognac. I have not eaten a slug and probably never will. If it tastes like Escargot I might change my mind.
The French do not eat slugs either. I will trust their judgement.
A slug is also a unit of force.
Not a fan of de-facto monopolies created by increasing vertical integration.
“What language is this?”
Thank you! I thought I was gonna have to go back to collich and learn a new language.
From the context, I’m guessing the tractor part of a tractor-trailer rig...
...but it could be obscurese for anything.
Note to the editors of the OED, AFAIK, this is the first use of the word obscurese, meaning a language intended to obscure, rather than to illuminate.
You have created a madeupical. A word only found once on the internet. Unfortunately, I just killed your madeupical.
In our hunt for a million missing words, we may find more than a few that are madeupical or nonce formations (words which are coined by one person, but which never get more widely used). But we think every word deserves a chance to be better known!

Every time they miss a delivery commitment, Amazon will give you a free month of Amazon Prime on request. They very rarely miss my deliveries.
That’s exactly what it is. It’s logistics terminology.
I think its when you meet your favorite trucker at the Little America out on the Interstate. I could be wrong though as Im no shipping expert.
I used to order from the Herters catalog.
I would agree with your assessment, but does the fact that the volvo trucks they are ordering will be driverless change that calculus at all?
If all you have is fuel costs for the return trip and not driver expenses it changes significantly. Also, those trucks can run 24 hours a day if need be.
