Parents need to understand how white supremacists prey on teen boys, so they can intervene.
Raising teenagers can be terrifying. Our squishy little babies become awkward hormonal creatures who question our authority at every turn. I expected that. What I didn’t predict was that my sons’ adolescence would include being drawn to the kind of online content that right-wing extremists use to recruit so many young men. The first sign was a seemingly innocuous word, used lightheartedly: “triggered.” As my 11- and 14-year-old sons and their friends talked and bantered — phones in hand, as always — in the back seat of the car, one of them shouted it in response to a meme, and they all laughed uproariously. I almost lost control of the car.
That’s because I know that word — often used to mock people who are hurt or offended by racism as overly sensitive — is a calling card of the alt-right, which the Anti-Defamation League defines as “a segment of the white supremacist movement consisting of a loose network of racists and anti-Semites who reject mainstream conservatism in favor of politics that embrace implicit or explicit racism, anti-Semitism and white supremacy.” People associated with this group are known for trolling those who disagree with them, and calling critics “triggered” is a favorite tactic.

I’ve never even see a white supremacist that I know of. The left seems to want us to believe they are behind every tree. That is total BS.

Whites growing up today are in danger from anti-white racists. Those anti-white racists can even be white. And as far as being “triggered”, well, no one gets triggered like an ideologically possessed Leftist with hate boiling just beneath the surface.

What’s ironic is that everything she just described is how Islamic terrorists recruit, and the death toll from that is 100 times higher than the handful of mass shootings she’s referencing. But if you point that out, you’re “Islamophobic.” They love making names to call people. I suppose if we want to play their reindeer games, we’ll have to make up words like Christophobic and Lefkophobic (fear of white). Oikophobia: fear of one’s own countrymen.

Maybe white people are finally fed up with being attacked at every turn. Being an American of Chinese descent I’m frankly shocked that white people allow themselves to be attacked in their own country and it’s a testament to the strong values of this primarily Judeo-Christian culture that there hasn’t been a violent backlash to the browbeating that comes from certain minority groups and communists but everyone has their breaking point.
The Founders, in their brilliance guaranteed individual rights not group rights and everyone should and must be treated equally under the law which is why there should be no protected classes and group rights but all individual rights have to be protected and cherished.
White supremacists and racists are everywhere....I was called a racist once because I like watching the NHL games,a “white” sport.LOL.
