I saw an interesting motor home today. It was headed South on U.S. 331 near DeFuniak Springs. It was medium sized, maybe even a bit on the small side.

It was a Mercedes but also said “Airstream” on the front. Fairly tall too. I would love to have owned it.

Airstream builds touring coaches on Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis. They sell new in the $160,000 to $236,000 range but they are quite luxurious.

That would be an Airstream Interstate. It uses a Mercedes Sprinter van as a base. Some are quite nice, particularly the Tommy Bahama edition.
