Sorry - Just a personal query. A few weeks back, some FReeper mentioned 'My wife is a pharmacist; she will not let me use statins." I have no idea how to find out who/ when -- but would love to chat briefly with the person who posted.

My heroin won’t let me use wife.

As I mentioned in yesterday’s thread, my mother just passed at 102 after nearly 30 years on statins, and would have lasted longer if not for the fall and broken hip. But not everyone can tolerate statins.

My wife won’t let me use anything that doesn’t forward her agenda. I call her Genghis Marilyn. (When she ain’t around) 😜. I quit statins years ago, and cigarettes, and swearing/well not so much.

I became allergic to ace inhibitors, and Zocor. I am now on the lowest dosage of Lipitor and a cocktail of BP drugs and I am fine. Hungry all the time but fine.
