Trump's Either Telling Us We Have Superweapons More Powerful Than Nukes...
Jalopnik ^ | September 16, 2019 | Kyle Mizokami

Twice in the last month, the President of the United States has claimed that the Pentagon has weapons even more powerful than nuclear weapons, with the ability to easily kill millions. He is either bluffing, confused, or is incapable of understanding the difference between conventional and nuclear weapons.

President Donald Trump made the claim during remarks to commemorate the 18th anniversary of the September 11th attacks in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania.

According to The Washington Post, Trump told an audience, emphasis mine:

“The last four days, we have hit our enemy harder than they have ever been hit before, and that will continue,” Trump said, apparently referring to the Afghanistan war and drawing applause from the crowd. “And if for any reason they come back to our country, we will go wherever they are and use power the likes of which the United States has never used before — and I’m not even talking about nuclear power. They will never have seen anything like what will happen to them.”

I’ve read the posts very carefully. I remain in disagreement with you regardless of your fan club.

The title and lead in are attacks the misrepresent what the President said and what it means.

My amateur, non military take on what the President's words mean is the Pentagon has briefed the President on a series of options. The details of those plans include how specific weapons counter specific Iranian threats. For example the Mk 110 57mm naval gun is used by the USN with countering small boat swarms in mind. That's just one, there are others.

If necessary the military has some extremely unpleasant options that do not involve nuclear weapons. During the first Gulf War, Gen. Colin Powell was asked what would happen if Iraq used chemical weapons on U.S. troops. He casually responded that the Air Force could take out a dozen dams and flood Bagdad under eight feet of water. Iran has similar vulnerabilities.

If the news would analyze instead of criticize they might figure this out.

“doesn’t, to me, mean they’re more powerful than hydrogen bombs”

Trump ordered the production of new nuclear weapons when he took office. He said so many times.

These weapons were probably never live tested and should be much more powerful than the old hydrogen bombs.

Could be. I tend to doubt it, but there’s a lot we common citizens don’t know about our current weapons.

I’m guessing he was referring to more precision guidance weapons, but who knows.

I seriously doubt we’ll drop a nuke however powerful or precise it might be, unless things get really really bad.

That is probaby part of what Trump is referring to, bombs and cruise missiles that generate EMP bursts. In addition, the US can lay down thousands of small and extremely accurate glide bombs at a time and take out an entire slice of a country’s infrastructure using only a relative handful of heavy bombers.

Just knowing what "Trumpisms" are, I would say he meant we can kill millions with standard weapons. Putting a few MOABS in the right locations, Maybe a microwave beam from outer space, rods from God, a few thousand Tomahawks in downtown Tehran, I mean there are probably more we don't know about but no sense in pressin my brain for more. A Neutron bomb kills people without property destruction. A couple of Marines will have a kill ratio of 100 to 1 at least.

When fighting a war, a nuke is almost never the first thing thought of. That is usually the last thing on the list. That's why we don't want N.Korea and Iran having them. We would have them on their knees in a week or two and they might use one as a last ditch effort.

America lost millions of men in WWII, was tired of fighting, and didn't want to waste another million fighting hand to hand in Japan so we used them after warning Tojo we would use them. Throwing nukes around helter skelter will get a bad Juju going in the UN.

Would it necessarily be surprising if some if the Antifa violence be attributable to psychological weapon testing?

You have a ready population that is half ready for violence as is, so why not try pushing the population in that direction to create violence and save some work on behalf the army?

I think the issue of right vs left captures the essence of Satan vs God. You’re right, we are meant to be productive and free and free to do the good we wish. I believe that is God’s will for mankind. However, Satan thinks that more good can be accomplished through the use of force.

Forcing people to be good is the world’s way. It’s what the world’s religions and philosophies have in common vs the Judeo-Christian faith.

However, liberals think that this type of goodness is too slow to accomplish the good they desire and they think more good can be accomplished through government coercion being run by bureaucrats, whose job is to decide what is the most good.

That’s why I think libertarianism is God’s will for man. As much freedom as can be given, with only as much government coercion as needed to keep society stable and minimizing violence without having police on every street corner.

President Trump can order an EMP attack that does not require the use of a nuclear weapon.

Counter-electronics High Power Microwave Advanced Missile Project

An EMP Attack Could Be Catastrophic    (90% civilian casualties)

One I saw operate was a cluster bomb that released about a thousand drones from a couple hundred feet that had the explosive power of a couple of grenades and they flew around until they found people or clusters of people. They can be dropped from a fighter jet by the thousands. They reminded me of the "locusts" spoken of in Revelation.

While flying they can hardly be seen. They have independent brains, but can be programed to fly in formations, seek out masses of people, seek single people, or separate into about a hundred each to hit buildings by using AI. When you push the button, they fly independently of the pilot but can be programed for a particular scenario. They don't miss. They can chase you down at about 100mph.

It was in the daily read file around the same time that Tanks at Fort Knox had successfully driven over hardened fiber optics cables with no damage.

We may very well have secret weapons systems that are hidden from public view, but I don’t even think that’s what POTUS was implying with his statement. I interpreted it to mean that our conventional capability is so powerful that we could do enormous destruction without having to resort to nuclear. For example, we have MOABS that have to potential to do enormous damage. So the author of the article is accusing POTUS of saying something he never said.

No, you didn’t miss anything. The ‘journalist’ who wrote the article took the liberty of ‘deciphering’ the meaning of Trump’s statement and then reporting it as fact.

Think "little".

Millions of nano drones dropped from cargo aircraft.

They seek out human targets and blow up beside their heads or inside their ears.

The effect of a couple of EMPs would be more devastating than a couple of nukes.
