Trump lost New Hampshire because of Democrats brought in from Massachusetts with fake IDs or whose IDs were not checked properly.

The GOP needs more troops on the ground carefully reviewing the voter credentials of voters in New Hampshire.

_Then_ the state can be won by Trump.

I wish a landslide was possible be we must not be complacent.
County Fairs are populated by people who tend to be more GOP/ Trump or Conservative politically-here’s why-they are more often married, family or white and interested in the type of entertainment that Fairs offer-old fashioned America.

On the opposite side of the coin: I go with my son to a lot of Club Basketball tournaments and the crowd there is completely opposite-primarily “people of color” Dem bumper stickers abound and I have seldom see an American Flag decal and have never seen a MAGA hat or Trump decal.

the point being that we can’t get complacent nor forecast based on what we see from our front porch. We need a strong economy and the reason is the changing US Demographics are working against any GOP candidate.

Excuse me if you have seen this before but Just look at the states won by Trump,he won 32 states but only 4 have a population of Hispanic voters over 13%. Clinton by contrast won 28 states and only 5 had a Hispanic population of under 13%.

In CA, the Hispanic Population is now about 40% (and yes fueled by illegal immigrants and higher birth rate )and African American 12%. They myth is it white liberals-they are a small sliver-at least in CA-its the “people of color” vote that drives the dems-odd that it is still white liberals running the mansion

This demographic shift and resulting voting trend is what is going on in early stages in Nevada, Az, Fl and now Texas. Colorado is now over 20% Hispanic and now a dem state, Nevada over 29% and voting solidly blue. I believe this is why the dems are for illegal immigration-it gets them votes and power.

The U.S. Hispanic population surged another 1.2 million last year and now is a record 59.9 million, according to newly released U.S. Census Bureau population estimates.
The percentage of Hispanics as part of the overall U.S. population also jumped to 18%.

We need to address and Trump at least tries for these votes-jobs not welfare

You’re right.

People don’t listen at their own expense.

They should.

Another thing is, I know of people who either reluctantly voted for Trump, didn’t vote, or maybe even voted for Hillary, who will now be full-throated supporters of Trump. My wife didn’t vote in 2016 because she thought Trump was a blowhard. However, she will be voting in 2020 for Trump because she sees all the economic prosperity (she’s still uneasy about the tweets, while I love them).

I have yet to meet anyone who voted for Trump in 2016 who won’t be voting for him in 2020.

I agree. I also think that the 2020 campaign will be different from 2016, in that, the 2016 Trump was a political newcomer, and some Republicans/conservatives/moderates had doubts about him. The 2020 Trump will be running on a record of some considerable achievements in seeking reelection.

Trump won 32 States and Clinton won 28 States?
So, 60 States? Three more than obumbler thinks we have.

The only thing that will “fix” it is a migration to outsourced labor and contract workers.

Only temporarily. The large multi-national bank I work for outsourced our entire desktop, mid-range server, mainframe, and help desk operations three years ago.

About thirty days ago, we gave required sixty day notices to two of the three outsourcing firms informing them that their service was so poor, they were put on sixty day performance notice to either improve or the contract would be terminated with cause at the end of the sixty day period.

After seeing no improvement in one of the firms, we decided to terminate the contract once the sixty day notice period expired. The second is on the edge of getting the same notice.

This would mean that we'd re-insource all desktop, mid-range server and help desk operations creating hundreds of jobs in the bank with full benefits.

This isn't just happening where I work, it's happening in many places that I have contacts in, in the financial services space.

Whether or not anyone likes it, employer mandated insurance is here to stay and IMO it's one of the reasons health care insurance costs so much. I liken it to the Fed's involvement in college education where the colleges take all the "free" money from the government then hammer us with the full cost of education anyway.

HealthCare insurance companies do the same: they take the premiums employers pay (the "free" money) then hammer us with all the rising co-pays, medication costs, tests, out of pocket deductibles, etc..

Obamacare just made it worse and all the crap Obamacare imposed needs to be un-done.

Personally I wouldn't mind ending employer mandated health-care as long as my salary went up to help cover the cost of self-insuring and it made healthcare companies actually compete by breaking down the interstate monopolies that exist. (That's another thing that really needs to change, likely a thread for another time ...)

No offense but polling at a county fair is like polling at a facebook users meeting. Not a great cross-section of the electorate.

As the “experts” have noted, polls at this stage are completely meaningless for a general election that is over a year away. Particularly when the candidates have not even been selected by the opposition party.
