I buy the cheap moving blankets from Harbor Freight since I have a sick dog.
A lot of their stuff is cheap but I will say that the impact sockets from there have held up.
The company I work for is a vendor to Walmart. They are one of our largest accounts, somewhere in the 8 figure range.
Everything is made in America. Also, the make us prove all of the performance claims on the labels.
No other customer makes us do that.

I bought a grip exerciser yesterday and automatically assumed it was Chinese made and it was but from Taiwan which made me happy. I do my best to avoid cheap chinese crap but I don’t go nuts if there is no alternative. Life is too short to worry about things beyond ones control.
We thought a wired remote was cutting edge technology. Amazing how quickly it was replaced.

Why pick on WalMart, one of the most capitalist companies in the world?? “Chinese crap” isn’t an exclusive WalMart phenomenon. Instead, I suggest you do a “Buy American” meme.
In our typing class (small rural school), we had manual typewriters of different makes, and ONE IBM electric. We rotated from machine to machine on a weekly basis so we would "be familiarized with a variety of machines". The gals who were aiming for secretarial jobs all hated me, because I could type faster than any of them.......
My sister in law is Taiwanese, she hates China. 10 years ago, she told my brother, “thats it no more purchases made in China”. They bought a new house a few years later and had to furnish it, my brother exclaimed, “do you know how hard it is to furnish your home and kitchen without China made products”? Super hard and expensive, she inspired me to do the same.

To be honest, the think President Trump is trying to soft-crash China / while letting the US and foreign companies have time to evacuate. PDJT would probably want China to implode in his second term.
LOL - I was always in the top 3 in my class in typing speed. If errors didn’t count, I could push it to the top...LOL
