“Feminist” Coloring book features usual suspects

Using coloring books to teach kids is a cool fun idea. But why are these female heroes always drawn from the same left leaning pool? Where is Hedy Lamar, Sandra Day O’Connor, Betsy Ross, Ayn Rand.

I wasn’t sure if anyone would get it :)

To think he wasn’t first or second or maybe third choice for the part is terrifying.

He was born for that part :)

Margaret Thatcher is certainly a big deal, as is Golda Meir.

For a missing non-political pick, how about Ada Lovelace?

There are not enough black crayolas in this universe or the next that can be used to draw an impression of their hearts

Aside from Blazing Saddles being ultra funny and sporting a primo cast, it is perhaps the best anti-racist/anti-bigot movie ever made. And as Mr Brooks said, it couldn't get made nowadays.

No, no, I mean maybe ‘Young Frankenstein.’ Maybe a few. But never ‘Blazing Saddles,’ because we have become stupidly politically correct, which is the death of comedy,” he said when asked if he thinks he could get films like “Blazing Saddles,” “The Producers,” or “Young Frankenstein” made today. “It’s okay not to hurt feelings of various tribes and groups. However, it’s not good for comedy. Comedy has to walk a thin line, take risks. Comedy is the lecherous little elf whispering into the king’s ear, always telling the truth about human behavior.”

It could NEVER be made today.

Even though at the core it was saying rural folks were kind of ignorant and definitely racist (but they come around by the end), blacks and liberal whites and others would read it upside down and condemn it.

Oh and the GAY scene. Forget it.

And the “latinos” saying “we don’t need no stinking badges!”.

And the comment about saying rape twice because it was his favorite. Feminist groups would go insane. Even though it was a BAD GUY that said it.

And on and on and on.

The new version with all the parts various group would want cut out would be 10 minutes long.

Is it anything like the Black Panther’s anti-police coloring books of the 1970s? which some say are fake.

The Black Panther leadership was even more radical than some of the Black Panthers understood them to be. They passed out Maoist tracts that said ‘kill your parents’ for the revolution.
