Poor dog and horse.

Waste of a decent boat. One would think after all those years of burying the dead with their animals and boats, someone would realize the animals and boats didn’t take the deceased on any journey. The soul might be gone but the body is right there where they put him.

Are we sure this just wasn't the boat owner's second happy day? Are we sure they buried a pristine boat, or the nastiest one they could find. There is far more research that needs to be done here.

Actually, I love articles like these. The past calls to me, especially things we don't know much about.

Maybe it wasn’t a burial.

Maybe it was an ancient form of mobile home and the guy died in his sleep?

What? Some else is up when I am? B-b-but I’m out West, and therefore up “early.”

I can read a little Spanish, but I’m not as good at it as I used to be, so I’ll pass.
