Personally I don’t waste my time commenting anywhere except for FR.
I try and stay away from any situation where my data may be collected and stored and sold. Cyber experts say it is impossible to be anonymous online. I accept that but endeavor to make myself as invisible as possible.
To me, posting comments on a leftist website like Fox News is just asking for trouble. Why waste the time?
Things like Take this Quiz, Do you Remember or Can you Name.

These are widely used in marketing to harvest sales leads and analyze engagement/conversions.
Of course, you cannot even think about SEO without involving Google.
A few months ago, Ellen Pao, former CEO of Reddit, published a post alleging web analytics were fraudulently rigged.

I brought this to the attention of a major online marketing guru, asking their opinion. I was patronizingly advised that they would wait for confirmation from other *influencers* before even investigating. Followup online clarified that Pao was inaccurately extrapolating. Maybe.
The amount of overtly manipulative psychological and social engineering in modern online content is boggling.
The implications of your tremendous analysis are staggering. Youve revealed Big Data Brother at work.

Is this Spot.IM operating behind most sites? I’d guess it is on the social media sites like Twitter or FB or etc.
I’ve noticed many times, on my fake sm account that I use only for FR and a community news page, my comments disappear quick as rabbits. Mundane comments like commenting a local happening was mentioned on the evening news gets yanked or “don’t text” or “don’t drink and drive” comments on a traffic accident disappear in a flash. Or is this merely the owner of the site?
Can you do me a favor?
Run some old Obama and Clinton quotes - of the type they won’t today admit they said - through the analyzer and post the results. Any quotes on border enforcement or inner-city crime, or any of their fake pro forma confessions of patriotism, will do well for the exercise.
guy named David Brock runs a slew of online troll farms for Hillary and the DNC... look him up but put on slime protection first.
...David Brock...

I’m aware of him.
I thought his interlocking schema had put him some sort of illegal financial bind. Of course, the $ comes from Soros, so it doesn’t matter in the larger sense.
Interesting
I use duckduckgo as well.
I did see that Malwarebytes Premium reports a lot of bots and things embedded in websites like Comcast report stuff to google. And Microsoft.
Bass turds.
Sorry for the late reply. That “work-work” thing has had me busy.
I plan on running a test soon. I’m going to create two accounts, one as a conservative and one as a liberal. I will come up with 100 comments for each that are generally offensive to the “other side.” I’ll post these 100 comments and then request the data. With the data in hand, I’ll compare the ratings between the two.
It will certainly be interesting if there is a noticeable difference between comments like this:
Trump should be in jail!
vs
Comey should be in jail!
...or...
Abortion is murder!
vs
The death penalty is murder!
(or maybe “A fetus is just a clump of cells” to stay on topic)
...or...
The black community is generally responsible for many of their own problems.
vs
The white community is generally responsible for many of their own problems.
I’ll gladly take comparative examples to use. PM me!
