America found her values--her very soul--in a predominantly rural, settler heritage. Those who repudiate that heritage embrace a form of reasoning that is absolutely inconsistent with those rustic settler values--and thus inconsistent with the very warp & woof of American cultural imperatives, such as self-reliance; such as moral responsibility; such as loyalty to a common heritage, a common purpose; loyalty to the very continuity of what wise & honorable men created & built on.

And that's what's going to help people survive when the whole thing collapses down around our heads.

As I’m a more or less “educated hillbilly” & from a “wide place in the road” in northeast TX, I can tell you that most of us “rural folks” & “rubes from flyover country” KNOW how the “big shots” from DC feel about us. = Further, we “rural folks” thoroughly DESPISE them.

ALL that those “leaders” care about is MONEY & MORE POWER for themselves & their fellow swamp-dwellers.

To flyover folks, ‘the government’ is a problem, not a solution. Flyover folks don’t take handouts when they can do for themselves. Flyover folks spend less time in shopping centers and social platforms and more time growing things. Flyover folks don’t have time to build grievances because they’re too busy building family values, self-sufficiency and Faith.
