It is nice to know there are still perfect people in the world.
As a GenXer and child of the Seventies, I can’t help but roll my eyes whenever I hear people going on about how their precious fee-fees were hurt by being ‘fat-shamed’ or ‘slut-shamed’ or any other kind of ‘shamed’.
Not when I still have vivid memories of growing up in a school, where there were only two types of boys. You were either a jock (who were the alpha and beta males of the school wolf pack), or you were automatically (and irrevocably) branded as a “faggot”. Didn’t matter what your actual orientation was (assuming you even *KNEW* at that age to begin with). If you ranked lower than beta, you were a “faggot”, and you would be treated accordingly.
You either learned how to physically defend yourself early on, or you paid the price. “Shaming” was the LEAST part of that price.
