Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday ruled out censuring President Trump if the House doesn’t impeach him, downplaying a less drastic censure as ‘‘a day at the beach’’ for the president.
Pelosi, a California Democrat, told reporters at a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor that censure would be ‘‘just a way out’’ of House Democrats’ efforts to see if Trump has committed impeachable offenses.
‘‘If you’re going to go, you ought to go. In other words, if the goods are there, you must impeach,’’ she said....

I’m guessing the poll numbers on this were really bad. Not only would Trump supporters hate the idea, but her bats%!# crazy pro-impeachment base would hate it too.

So what are they going to impeach him for? That he won in 2016 and they don’t like him.
Real rocket science:
Censure - the expression of formal disapproval.
Impeach - charge (the holder of a public office) with misconduct.
If they can’t produce anything to remove him from office, and they can’t seem to find any dirt on him, what do you disapprove that identifies any misconduct? Let’s see, if it isn’t A, and isn’t B, do we even have a C?

She’s gone googly eyed, one eye on impeachment, one eye on the reports that people (plural) in the FBI have started to become whistleblowers.
Having the DOJ IG report come out during an impeachment hearing based on the Mueller dossier would not bode well for the 2020 election.
