Since the election of President Donald Trump in 2016, we have experienced a growing trend of once fringe activist groups who are now the leaders of the Democratic Party refusing to accept the results of his election, and subsequently the elections of other prominent Republican governors and members of Congress throughout our land.
Even elections where it was obvious the Republican won, Democrats have demanded costly recounts and done everything in their power to destabilize the situation to the point of undermining our democratic republic.

After failing to overturn President Trump's veto of Congress' bill to reverse Trump's emergency declaration of the border crisis, Democrat House Armed Services Committee Chairman Adam Smith issued a letter "denying the request" of the Pentagon's redirection of funds to border wall construction as if the veto never happened.

It is sickening that this latest crop of Socialist/Marxists, who are destroying the Democratic Party, are using such smear tactics, comparing themselves to the French Resistance under an imagined dictator Adolf Hitler’s and his Nazis.Then to daily compare Trump and the people who voted for him as these Nazis is the very tactic I witnessed Communists in the 1960s use to try to unsuccessfully discredit and overthrown the United States.

Sadly, if these distortions continue to be perpetrated by the losers of the last election and amplified by the current entrenched leftist media, it is only a question of time before things get out of hand and our country will no longer continue solving things at the ballot box.
I hope and pray that day never comes. But, if the current trend, especially among leftists in this country continues, I truly fear our future as a sovereign nation is in peril.
For example, the so-called Mueller probe was completed nearly a week ago after spending $33 million and employing an army of prosecutors and grand juries in search of the illusive “Russian Collusion “ that Trump and his administration supposedly committed.
The whole probe was a ploy of the left. But now, that the Mueller report has failed to find any Trump/Russian collusion or any so-called obstruction of justice, the left, as predicted, rejects the findings and continues to disrupt and undermine the presidency in a manner that is razor close to being outright sedition.
So, we are back to square one: Trump haters insist on rejecting the will of the American people and continue to obstruct, smear, and in some cases, commit violence against his supporters.
I am sorry to report that this trend will probably continue because those promoting it appear to embrace the idea of a political revolution, which they dream as some painless sort of feel-good “transformation.”
Too bad they haven’t read about a little war that sparked a catastrophe for the young U.S. Union on Apr. 12, 1861. Maybe they should carefully crack open the nearest American history book and learn what happens when two political parties can’t resolve what appear to be irreconcilable differences peacefully and Constitutionally.
I lost both a great, great grandfather and great, great uncle fighting for the preservation of the Union in that Hellish debacle called the Civil War.
The Dems have cried foul at every election where a Republican won since Ronald Reagan.
That’s 30 years. 30 YEARS - EVERY election they’ve lost.
It’s the new normal for liberals. They trialed this tactic on Gov. McCrory in NC, and now have rolled it out nationwide. Their goal is to make themselves ungovernable whenever they don’t get their way. Well, 2 (or more) can play at that game.

Tell me about it. They tried recalling Scott Walker In Wisconsin and fought every key bit of legislation passed by the legislature. Act 10 made statewide u ions more difficult to survive and they also passed photo voter ID. Both went all the way to the state Supreme Court. Also, our state assembly and senate district maps are being argued in front of the US Supreme Court. The democrats do t want to accept anything.
I agree with you. They have rolled it out. But it is very dangerous. If they deny the result of every election and even after a recount claim the elected is illegitimate, we no longer have the rule of law. We have a large body of people saying they are not subject to our laws. Not good.
