Biden will find it difficult to excite millennial and progressive voters, the base of the new radicalized Democratic Party
tIt looks like another heavyweight Democratic presidential contender is on the verge of entering the race. Former Vice President Joe Biden is moving closer to making an official announcement that he will be a candidate in 2020.
If he runs, Biden will start at the top of the polls. The latest Emerson national poll has Biden and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont tied at 26%, leading the large field of candidates.
He’s feeling up... err, out his base.

If Biden is a “bust”, then put him on a mantelpiece somewhere and move on to reality.

There is no way the Rats will nominate a white man, & probably not nominate a white woman either. Cory & Kamala have the best shot, IMO.
One is a nut job, while the other is a evil Ho (sorta like Hillary, but with lots of sex). Trump will win easily.
If the Democrats had a serious plan to win in 2010, they would already have coalesced behind a stolid, serious-sounding candidate who has enough pro-American bonafides to appeal to some voters outside of urban areas. Biden is probably the closest thing they've got.

Biden has never done anything in his life except be a D.C. lifer.
I think if it was Bernie against Biden, Bernie would beat him. But there are too many radicals in the race & they’ll take each other out, leaving the most milquetoast candidate standing. Then he’ll pick Kamala Harris as VP - have to get the black vote out. And having another ‘first’ - a woman - will get enthusiastic support from the Dems.
If it plays out this way, Trump is likely to lose. Especially if the economy falters.
