House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says President Donald Trump's veto of legislation blocking the national emergency he's declared at the Mexican border shows he's defying "the Constitution, the Congress and the will of the American people."
The California Democrat says the House will vote March 26 on overriding Trump's veto. The chamber seems certain to fall short of the two-thirds majority needed to succeed. That means his emergency declaration would survive, but it still faces several legal challenges....

Madam Pelosi must not have read the Constitution. Article I, section 7 of the Constitution grants the President the authority to veto legislation passed by Congress.
Congress wrote the law, so if you didn’t want a POTUS to use the law you should not have written it...............

If Trump is defying the Constitution by declaring the border situation a National Emergency then the Congress in the ‘70’s defied the Constitution when they created the law the President could declare a National Emergency, and IF that is illegal as the Congress claims, then all the National Emergencies declared by Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Obama are illegal as well.
The answer is they don’t like Trump.
