PRIMARY TILLIS?

Posted on 03/06/2019 9:27:35 AM PST by DIRTYSECRET

I'm getting tired of this crap of his. Who will it be? Any familiar house member will be too afraid like the rest of them. A no name protest candidate means the seat is gone. Trump will be on the ballot which should help. As for Tillis He could have waited until his 2nd term to start playing games but like Mr. Flake he seems to be afraid of those he needs to stand up to-just like the fictional house member that needs to step up. Hickenlooper(Co.) will run for Gardner's seat once he realizes going for POTUS will leave him unemployed in January.

Yep. Plenty of time to find a credible challenger.

Former Governors and prominent Congressmen are typical Senate candidates. Rich businessmen (especially an icon of a dominant local industry) or prominent citizens (like John Glenn) can sometimes make it.

Who are the best known/ most admired North Carolinians?

The best bet is usually a former Governor.

Looking at 2020:

Deserving of re-election: Inhofe, Sullivan, Cotton, Perdue, Risch, Ernst, Cassidy.

Deserving of Cantorization: Gardner, McSally, Daines, Collins, Cornyn, Capito, Enzi, Rounds, Graham, Tillis, Sasse, Hyde-Smith, McConnell.

If we keep electing Amnesty Senators, we will get amnesty and we will lose our country.

Napoleon preferred to choose one Regimental Commander at random and have him shot. His rationale: for encouragement of the others. All it will take one, but rather than picking at random, choose a Republican Senator who can be successfully primaried.

The R party should be seeking out and nurturing new candidates, but the R party is a big part of the problem. So who’s going to do it?

Someone sought out and nurtured AOC and as well as she worked out, they’re likely to do again. Then, RINOs won’t be our biggest problem.

Won't be surprise that all will be back in office again. Sad.

Gardner and McSally will probably lose to the Democrat, the rest will likely be re-elected.

And then they will be pushing amnesty again in 2021.

Do you have an reference for Napoleon doing that?

It seems like that would cause regimental commander desertion rather then excellence.

If was a French regimental commander and I saw that happen once or twice & I knew it was completely unjust, I’d say “Hello Piccadilly Square!”. It would not inspire to more deeds of Revolutionary or Imperial fervor!

Conservatives/Republicans need to model something along the lines of the Communist organization that pushed AOC to the forefront. Run it like an American Idol contest, have thousands of contestants/wannabe public servants apply, then use the organization to advance people OVER the usual people who are in charge of “dues collecting”. There have to be millions of eligible voters who can serve as better servants than any “degreed” graduate of Hahvahd or Yail.

We’ll pick up Alabama if we don’t screw up again. Then there’s those that we must goto bat for even if they are Cantorized. Plenty of time? That’s B.S. The challengers either have the balls or they don’t. I’m betting they don’t. You’re right. We’ll lose Colorado and Az. You can see it from far away just like Jeb losing to Hillary.
