Charles Barkley roasted Jussie Smollett on Thursday night after more details of the racist attack he is accused of staging emerged, taking particular pleasure in mocking the actor for allegedly writing a personal, backdated check to the men he paid to beat him.
Speaking during his half-time coverage of the Houston Rockets-Los Angeles Lakers game, Barkley had his co-commentators on TNT in stitches after bringing the controversial case up.
They were discussing unlikely scenarios on the basketball court when Barkley steered the conversation towards Smollett mischievously.

From what I’ve seen of Barkley, he says what he thinks, and he usually has some reasoning behind his opinions.
I don’t always agree with him, but I respect him.

Barkley got roasted over the coals by the liberals when some reporter asked if kids should look up to him as a roll model.
He said what they did not expect. He said paraphrasing hell NO!. 5 million kids play high school basketball, 5 thousand play college, and only a couple hundred make it to the pro’s and only a couple a year make it to the hall of fame. They should look to the fathers, ministers and teachers for roll models not basketball players....
And then said the most sexist, despicable things about Sarah Palin. Such a paragon of virtue...

And here we have the reason Empire dumped Smollett. Not ratings. Demographics. Which the net and production company figured were going to go straight into the dumper. Just like the ratings already have.

Charles is one of the funniest guys to come out of the NBA. You never know what politically incorrect thing is going to come out of his mouth.Always good for a laugh and very rarely mean spirited.
