Count me in. While recently wondering who could fill DJT’s shoes, I overlooked Gov. Abbott. I can think of no one else.
He faces a Democrat-controlled House because of the treachery of about a dozen liberal Republican members. It’s unlikely that conservative legislation of any kind will pass in 2019.
I have been impressed with him since he was AG in Texas. Smart and true classicle conservative. I thought he would be great Prez or would have been better than Pence for V
