The Democrats are promising to make gun control a top priority as they are set to assume the majority in the House of Representatives. Some Democrats are even showing their true colors by foolishly stating that the government would use nukes on people refusing to comply with their gun confiscation mandates. While we can safely assume (hopefully anyway) that Representative Swalwell wouldnt take out an entire state because people refused to surrender their constitutional rights, which he is sworn to uphold and protect incidentally, we shouldnt assume our gun rights are safe just because Donald Trump is in the White House.
Among the many other sweeping reforms the Democrats plan to push, such as a ban on high capacity magazines are the passage of the so-called Red Flag gun laws on the national level. So far, roughly eleven states have these Red-Flag gun laws on the books. California was one of the first to pass such laws and as we have recently seen, they have done nothing to prevent people from committing mass murder. Florida also passed such laws last March and has seized firearms from over 450 people who have been deemed a threat to themselves or others. Unfortunately, these laws have done nothing to prevent the murderers from murdering, even with guns. They didnt stop a shooter from shooting up a video game tournament. They also failed to stop yet another shooting at a school event where a gunman opened fire at a high school football game killing one and wounding two others. These people clearly should have been on Floridas Red-Flag list yet, despite the new law and enforcement capabilities they went undetected.

Start dispersing caches. Start preparing (if you have not already done so)
If gun owners voted as a block, none of this would be happening. It amazes me that gun owners are voting for Dem candidates.
This will not be pretty.
Oh they will now. Thanks, Duke Nuke'Em!
Not a problem. Just require the relative that is making the accusation precede the officers in the door by 5 minutes. Just to explain what is about to happen.
“It amazes me that gun owners are voting for Dem candidates.”
I don’t get it, either! I know a number of avid hunter/sportsmen that always vote D but will DIE before they give up their gun rights.
I guess they, like all Dems, think the LAWS won’t APPLY to THEM. Grrr!
Ping.
Ordering confiscations of private property and actually achieving them are two very different things. Very very different. Especially when it comes to firearms, obviously. Just how stupid are these Nazi/ Dimocraps, anyway? Can they even be that stupid???it doesnt seem possible
Anyone who made such a report about me would be out of my life permanently. That is an unforgivable infringement on my freedom. Such an attack is more than enough to justify divorce, disowning a child, or ending a lifelong friendship.

LonePalm, le Républicain du verre cassé (The Broken Glass Republican)
And that would be the best outcome. I can think of worse. It would really require the accuser to be DEAD serious.
An article in Dillon’s “BLUE PRESS” some years ago said it best...
“IF YOU DON’T VOTE LIKE A GUN OWNER, YOU SUCK!”
Pointed article in what is primarily a catalog, with some articles.

If CCA holders would file suit in gun-banning states, gun owners could break down the laws just as homosexual marriage advocates did - on the basis of official acts in one state being respected and honored in all other states.
“It amazes me that gun owners are voting for Dem candidates.”
Let’s hope they are learning their lesson and will not do so again.
We need a large R majority in both Houses of Congress.
My dad....years ago when talking about life in the 1930s of Alabama...got onto the topic of ‘writing a note to the county judge’.
If you had some relative who was nuts...you’d write the letter and have two relatives sign it. The judge would receive it...ask you to swear to the letter. Then he’d bring in the nutty cousin or uncle (deemed a threat), and ask a couple of questions. Sheriff’s deputies would bring the guy down, and this would take about twenty minutes. If deemed a nut then the deputies would drive the guy to the state mental facility and drop him off.
As he noted...it was awful easy, but also considered a necessity. We’ve gone in the past forty years to just let nutcases roam at-will and let them cause trouble...which just gets them into regular prison today. I would make a guess that 10-percent of the jailed-folks of today....are nutcase types and they should have been settled into a nutcase facility long ago.
The NRA supported dingy harry in NV when he was in office.
I’ve lived a good long life, and I would like to keep living it until the good Lord calls me home. However, if they come for my guns, I will shoot them. This is simply a fact. The first few through the door won’t be going home that night. Consider that carefully before you come to take my guns.
Terrible.

In all seriousness, considering that my home state of Oregon ranks worst in the nation for mental health and one of the worst for military retirees, FReepers should be watching what happens here like a hawk.
MAKE NO POST ANYWHERE ABOUT EMOTIONAL STATE WHICH DEVIATES TO MELANCHOLY FROM HAPPY, SARCASTIC, CRITICAL AND/OR CYNICAL.
I wish that were sarcasm. I really do.
