All white people need to apologise to ll black people for any behavior by a single individual. And until not one white person commits not one offense...then all white people shall be branded as racist. And subject to criminal abuse(s) and intimidation until the end of time.

And of course the flip side of that-- blaming all black people for one blacks person's behavior or even multiple black person's behavior or even huge numbers of black people's behavior (as in propensity to commit violent crimes) would be evil waycism.

the left love their race based double standards.

God did not create racism, which was the major cause of the atrocities of the last big war. Don’t attribute to God the depredations of the devil.

As for humanism, that is yet another of the evil one’s concoctions. The USSR claimed their system to be based on humanism, for one prominent example.

My most recent slave ancestor was four to five generations back. So far back, that no one in living memory even knows who that person was.

I remember two of my great grandparents, and all four of my grandparents. Not a one of them ever taught their offspring to hold onto the grievances of prior generations.

On those rare occasions when the subject came up, they spoke of slavery in a purely historical context. They didn’t have an emotional connection to that history, and never attempted to instill a sense of resentment in us for the sins or sufferings of people long dead.

Thank goodness. I didn’t grow up with a chip permanently fixed to my shoulder.

White people are sorry about our for-fathers and the english bringing black slaves to america. Everyone can see the curse that has come upon this country today in the form of reverse black racism. Lincoln and congress made a huge mistake not shipping the slaves back to africa after the civil war. Most black minds are deranged by the white democrat leadership. Blacks will always be a minority in the USA.

The Left today wants to judge white people by the color of their skin.

We used to judge people by the content of their character.

With all their anti-white hate, they have never stopped to consider why a majority of whites haven’t voted for them since the 1960s.

There is racism in this country but its all manifested on the other side.

That would be on North Main St. In Waterbury CT. The old house was falling down for 20 years until someone bought it recently and fixed it up. People use to tell me stories about how the cars would line up the street in front of my grandfathers car wash in the 1950s. It sounds foreign to me because I wasn't born until 1970 when the neighborhood was already falling apart.

Lincoln and congress made a huge mistake not shipping the slaves back to africa after the civil war.

Well, Lincoln wasn't even alive when the Civil War ended, so that would have been hard for him to have done.

He was shot two days after the war ended.

He had all that time to send them back and did nothing.

Slacker.

She enters into a history of white women who say they are sorry amid media pressure, but do nothing to rectify the damage they have caused.

As Walter Williams has pointed out, blacks in the US have much higher standard of living than they do in any African country. The descendants of slaves benefited from the suffering of their ancestors. They should be grateful to live in this country.

This is the ideological equivalent of dhimmitude in Shariah law or the untouchable caste in Hinduism.

Whites, you’re inherently guilty and evil. That attitude justifies systematic oppression of the entire group.

But unlike Christianity’s original sin, there’s no way you can rise up to be forgiven.

If you self-flagellate hard enough, we’ll consider you tolerable.

Tell us how evil your kind are and how good your moral superiors are, and we’ll give you the job of oppressing and policing your own kind.

Believe all women, unless it is a white woman accusing a black man, then don’t.

It’s all about getting offended for the sake of getting offended, for fun and profit. A lot like emotional meth. It gives a triggered “victim” a temporary “high”, a short term feeling of empowerment. But once that high wears off the need for the next “fix” becomes progressively more insatiable. What a pathetic, self-destructive way to go through life.

That’s a really mature and constructive approach. Are they TRYING to be antagonistic?

When I see something like this with this tone, I realize it is not to seek accomodation they are saying this. It is to fire up their base.

Yep the good ol’ Brass City...birthplace of the Mickey Mouse watch...my father in law’s 1st cousins lived in nearby Naugatuck and many of their brood were longtime US Rubber employees. This terrible story replayed itself time and again across the northeast and Midwest...

https://www.nytimes.com/1982/09/10/nyregion/historians-explore-the-waterbury-area-s-brass-industry.html

Still one of the largest cities in the NY metro area
its precipitous decline resulted in @25% (25K)
of population living below poverty line and being
rated at one point by Money magazine as #300
out of 300 metro areas.

Again this is the mundane but foundational stuff
of life which we ceded to China et al who crank
out a much crappier cheesier version.

My dad ran his own tool and die/machine shop for almost 40 years.
He said it was greed not just of companies that hastened
their demise but of unions wanting big $ for menial jobs and
gravy sucking pigs aka taxing municipalities as well.

He was an intelligent though not formally educated man who
believed strongly that not everyone had the intellect or interest to work in
offices and other fields but a steady job making functional
quality household items such as these factories provided even with
pre-OSHA hazards gave one a strong sense of identity structure and self worth and a way to make a living providing for one’s family vs today’s unmerited handouts on racial and political grounds robbing taxpayer Peter to pay parasite Pablo

The Rubber Shop in Naugatuck brings back memories of my childhood. I remember the terrible smell and going into their store to buy new sneakers. My grandmother worked there when she was younger. My family moved out to Watertown the year I was born. The suburbs around here are still nice but the drugs are everywhere.
