During their final days of access to FBI files and computers Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok — before losing their jobs — each allegedly tried to destroy evidence and documents, per well-placed FBI and DOJ sources.

But they were nabbed by a sting operation.

Two of the supposed brightest minds who served the FBI — and led the country’s Intel apparatus — each separately set out to allegedly destroy incriminating evidence before their departures from the Bureau. And neither one had any clue they were being watched.

But FBI Director Christopher Wray had suspected as much and — working with personnel from the Inspector General’s office — set up a sting-like operation to prevent against evidence destruction, both documents and electronic, two FBI sources confirm.

Really. Leaving them in their jobs after criminal allegations were brought up? Did you think they were going to be promoted? These two should have been dismissed or suspended immediately. I call BS.

The Head of the FBI (Wray) and Session’s Boss (Rosenstein), along with the DOJ OIG (Horowitz) said they wouldn’t even request Strzok’s personal phone (which texts indicated he used to evade internal surveillance).

That official OIG Report is at odds with what is claimed by TruePundit.

The DC US Atty is Investigating McCabe - not Huber.

If this was true, would they leave Strzok with 24/7 access for over a year after the fact?

And I think Felonies have been committed if all those FBI Lawyers kept this from Congress during Strzok and IG hearings.

All indications are they loved Strzok and tried to help him all they could, and the DC US Atty is looking to lay the groundwork to let McCabe walk.

There is no reason why Huber wouldn’t have secured indictments by now.
