The New York Times just published this article, which is titled
“Nikki Haley’s View of New York Is Priceless. Her Curtains? $52,701.”
The first paragraph states
“The State Department spent $52,701 last year buying customized and mechanized curtains for the picture windows in Nikki R. Haley’s official residence as ambassador to the United Nations, just as the department was undergoing deep budget cuts and had frozen hiring.”
This implies that it was the Trump administration that authorized this spending.
It’s not until the sixth paragraph that the Times informs us that
“… plans to buy the curtains were made in 2016, during the Obama administration. Ms. Haley had no say in the purchase…”
Why did the New York Times use the articles’s heading and first paragraph to falsely imply that this was Haley’s fault?
And why did the New York Times wait until the sixth paragraph to mention that the spending was authorized by the Obama administration, and that Haley herself had no say in the matter?
And finally, why didn’t the New York Times report this when Obama was president?
The Lying Slimes.

The media lying and bias has become overwhelming.
The Republicans need to start a daily talking points memo like the Dems have and include stories... facts.. like this.
The Dems are entitled to their irrational emotions but not their facts should be a Republican mantra.

Trump’s administration is not only blamed for the weather and natural events, it will be blamed for the the destruction wrought by the Obama administration.
Are curtains just curtains. Or, are they full of materials to stop sensors from listening in on your conversation regardless of the frequency they are using aka light, micro, etc etc.
If it wasn’t fro Soros and Bezos the New York Slimes and Washington Compost would be history.

Reminds me of what the Toronto Star did back in about 1997, concerning renovations done to the Official Opposition leader’s official residence (known as Stornoway). The Star alleged that newly elected Official Opposition leader Preston Manning (of the Reform Party) ordered some very costly renovations to be done to the house at about the time he moved in. However, the government organization (the National Capital Commission, or NCC) overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of Stornoway and other official residences said that they would have had to do the work anyway even if no one were to have moved in and that work had become that more imperative to be done because the house had not been occupied since 1993 (as the Bloc Quebecois leaders had lived in their own private residences across the Ottawa River in Hull/Gatineau).
I recall the Reform Party even had a letter from the NCC posted on their website that completely refuted the Star’s fake story.
I am old enough to remember when the NYT actually had integrity.

Bredesen is being accused of spending outlandishly on the Tennessee Governor’s Mansion. To some extent it is true, but Marsha Blackburn is making abig mistake by allowing the half-truths to spew forth. Easy refutation by Bredesen.
