I can’t believe it’s taken this long just for the electricity to be restored. I guess an island nation has its challenges regardless how close they are to the US. Mrs S and I were talking about taking a vacation down there to help their economy what little we could. Sounds like it’s not time yet...
Partner, the whole electrical grid of Puerto Rico was totally destroyed by that Hurricane. This is the main reason President Trump went down there since he knows what it takes to build the electrical grid on the island of PR.
It takes quite a while to build up the electrical grid system the way it should have been built in the first place when you have to redo everything that was there, which I got a glimpse of what was there when I went down there about 12 years ago and I thought the same thing back then what if a great big hurricane hits this island.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of corruption to deal with on this island.

Ramey has been open for a few months — a few JetBlue commercial flights land there from FLA.
