So many sob stories. How about if we got the federal government completely out of the unconstitutional charity (aka religious) business altogether? Then perhaps taxpayers would have enough of their own earnings to be more charitable to those who genuinely need and deserve help.
My only question is whether this can be applied to federal money going to subsidize the free public education of illegal immigrants.

It seems like the Left wants to strip us of every tool for survival - as if it’s a bad thing to compete, it’s s bad thing to win, it’s a bad thing to build a wall, it’s a bad thing to defend ourselves.
When we were kids our parents said don’t talk to strangers, look both ways before you cross the street, respect your elders, go to church on Sunday, be proud of your country, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, don’t hang around with losers, don’t borrow money.
And yes, our parents wanted us to marry someone of a similar age and social background, of the opposite sex.
It seems like the Left has spun every one of those survival instincts into a bad thing - even looking both ways before crossing the street seems to be discouraged - the cool thing is to walk out in front of cars, eyes straight ahead, and assert pedestrian right of way just like on a college campus. Hunting deer is “disgusting”, being wary of strangers is racist or xenophobic, opposite sex marriage is homophobic, success is greed, going to church is bitter bible clinging, patriotism is “deplorable”.
My only question is whether the Left is pushing this counter evolutionary behavior out of stupidity, or whether it is being done to con us into giving up our competitive edge, so that they can win.
