Six Months’ Worth of PC, Diversity and Leftist Destruction in the US Military – Part II
US Defense Watch ^ | August 8, 2018 | Ray Starmann

Last week, US Defense Watch reported on the continuing social engineering destruction derby that is laying waste to what is left of the fighting spirit, warrior culture and combat power of the US military.

In Six Months’ Worth of PC, Diversity and Leftist Destruction in the US Military, Part I, we discussed several events and policies that occurred or were implemented from June to August 2018.

Part II continues with a myriad of examples concerning the leftist social engineering that marches on; without anyone, including Mad Dog Mattis, lifting a finger to stop it.

What follows should alarm any American. As stated before in Part I, all mentioned events and policies can be verified at US Defense Watch or other media outlets.

In June, the website, The Other McCain published the following article that was based on an anonymous email the editor had received from a whistleblower in the Navy:

Tip: Pentagon Covering up the Fact that Female Officers Nearly Sank Navy Ship (U.S.S. Fitzgerald)

The article highlighted several facts: The OOD (Officer of the Deck) was named Lt. Sarah Coppock , and the Tactical Action Officer was named Lt. Natalie Combs, and they weren’t speaking to each other. The Tactical Action Officer would normally be in near constant communication with the OOD, but there is no record of any communication between them that entire shift.

Another fun fact: In the Navy that won WWII, the damage control officers were usually some of the biggest and strongest men aboard, able to close hatches, shore up damaged areas with timbers, etc. The Fitz’s damage control officer was also a woman, and she never left the bridge. She handled the aftermath of the accident remotely, without lifting a finger herself.

In an 11-hour hearing, prosecutors painted a picture of Lt. Irian Woodley, the ship’s surface warfare coordinator, and Lt. Natalie Combs, the tactical action officer, as failing at their jobs, not using the tools at their disposal properly and not communicating adequately. They became complacent with faulty equipment and did not seek to get it fixed, and they failed to communicate with the bridge, the prosecution argued. Had they done those things, the government contended, they would have been able to avert the collision.

That two of the officers — Coppock and Combs — involved in this fatal incident were female suggests that discipline and training standards have been lowered for the sake of “gender integration,” which was a major policy push at the Pentagon during the Obama administration. It could be that senior officers, knowing their promotions may hinge on enthusiastic support for “gender integration,” are reluctant to enforce standards for the women under their command.

Also, in June, Second Lieutenant Spenser Rapone, the Marxist-Leninist poster boy from West Point was given an Other than Honorable Discharge for his actions, which included posting pro Communist and Antifa messages on social media, his intention to infiltrate the US military as a communist and his reference to the Secretary of Defense as a ‘vile, evil f*ck.’

Why Rapone wasn’t court martialed speaks volumes about the state of our military. Why Rapone didn’t receive a dishonorable discharge speaks volumes about the state our military’s senior leaders. Why Rapone was allowed to graduate from West Point when everyone knew about his political ideals and his insubordinate conduct speaks volumes about the state of the US Military Academy.

On April 30th, the Army Times, with its usual Orwellian fanfare, celebrated the fact that Cadet Taylor England from West Point will be assigned to the famous 173rd Airborne Brigade upon successful completion of the gender neutral Infantry Officers’ Basic Course at Fort Cognitive Dissonance, Georgia.

According to the Army Times, Cadet Taylor England, a regimental sergeant major at the U.S. Military Academy, has committed to the unit following her May graduation.

In the old days, officers received their orders while at OBC. Obviously, England is the diversity poster girl for the inundation of females into the combat arms and particularly into rock and roll units like the 173rd. My command sergeant major served five tours in Vietnam with the 173rd and had enough fruit salad for a division. He was a walking scar and a 24/7 macro-aggression. I tried to stay out of his range fan on most days. I have a hard time picturing England and him in the same unit.

Just sayin…

Be as PC as you can be, find your future in the gender neutral US military…

Also in April, the Army Times published the following article: All 4 service chiefs on record: No harm to units from transgender service

No, none at all…

The article reported that Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Dave Goldfein told Congress he was not aware of any negative effects from transgender personnel serving.

Sen. Kristen Gillibrand, D-N.Y., who actually runs the US military now, used the opportunity to question Goldfein as to whether he was aware of any “issues of unit cohesion, disciplinary problems or issues of morale resulting from open transgender service.”

“In the last two weeks Gen. [Mark] Milley, Gen. [Robert] Neller, and Adm. [John] Richardson have told me that they have seen zero reports of issues of cohesion, discipline, morale as a result of open transgender service in their respective service branches,” Gillibrand said, referring to the chiefs of staff of the Army, Marine Corps and Navy, respectively.

Goldfein said he was not aware of any issues with transgender service members, but emphasized that each case is unique. Goldfein said among the transgender service members he had talked to, he had found a “commitment to serve by each of them.”

Gee, that’s funny generals, because here’s a story that was related to me this week concerning mega problems the military is experiencing with allowing the mentally ill, aka transgenders into their ranks.

“We have a new, recently retired guy at work that spent both active duty and National Guard time. He retired as an O-5 and during his last assignment (not as a commander…can’t remember exactly job), but he had a transgender solider in his unit. The soldier is a warrant officer…male, married with two kids, who decided some time ago that he was really a woman and started going through “transition.” During the course of what I understood to be at least a couple of years, he failed three consecutive PT test, which are grounds for chaptering him out of the Army. My friend said they (the unit) had everything in perfect order…all the fail scores, all the counseling, all attempts to help improve his scores, etc…everything was perfect, by the book. Of course, the soldier then started complaining (and threatening) that they were only doing this because he was trans and it wasn’t fair. There’s a rule in the Army (not sure about other services) that whatever your “marker” is in DEERS (male or female), those are the standards by which you are evaluated on whatever may apply, but the guy kept arguing that he should be graded as a female instead of a male, but again, according to his “marker” in DEERS, he was still male, hasn’t had the final snip job nor changed his official gender in DEERS, so the rules applied. Again, the unit had everything exactly by the rules. So, the packet to kick him out of the Army went up through the chain of command and was signed off by every commander….until it reached the general officer level. My friend said he was told the general said this will be a media nightmare, so …yep, he disapproved it and the trans warrant officer is still in.”

“As a side note…my friend said he knew the family (wife and kids) and it was really messing up the young kids…he’s daddy one day and now his mommy. He said it was incredibly sad as far as the kids when. His wife was initially going to stay with him, but that crumbled somewhere along the way, so they are (or may already are) getting divorced. My friend said he spent so much time and effort and man-hours on this issue, that the last several months before his retirement was just exhausting. He also said if he had to watch one more training presentation about how to treat guys who are growing boobs, he would have screamed! :-)”

No problems at all Secretary of Defense Gillibrand. The death of the US military is right on schedule.

Like I mentioned last week, our senior leaders are the worst generation of brass this nation has ever fielded, bar none.

Let’s move on to a lighter subject like Denim Day at West Point, as reported on April 24th by US Defense Watch.

According to West Point’s official Facebook page, It’s #DenimDay at #USMA! Today’s uniform choice is part of an international effort to raise awareness of and prevent future sexual assault and harassment. Cadets, staff and faculty alike wore jeans to show commitment to ending sexual assault and harassment. For more info on Denim Day visit: http://denimdayinfo.org

Isn’t that just so politically correct? Isn’t that just so progressive? Cadets, feel free to just rip off your uniform and put those skinny jeans on to show how much empathy you have for victims of sexual assault and harassment. Last year it was red high heels. This year it’s Calvin Klein’s.

Schwarzkopf, MacArthur, Patton, Collins, Rose, Pershing, Leonard Wood, Lee, Grant, Longstreet, Custer and Winfield Scott are turning in their graves. Winfield Scott is turning in an extra large grave.

The AP reported on April 23rd about the Army’s increasing inability to attract anyone to enlist in its ranks.

According to the AP:

It was reported that the Army will fall short of its goal to recruit 80,000 new soldiers this year.

Army officials say the updated goal will be 76,500. Six months into the recruiting year the service has brought in just 28,000 new soldiers.

Army spokeswoman Cynthia Smith said the main effort is to grow the Army to 483,500, as approved by Congress.

The struggle to meet this year’s higher recruiting numbers — which were a significant hike over last year’s recruiting mission of 69,000 — was expected, mainly due to the favorable American economy and increased competition from private sector employers who are able to pay graduates more money.

If that wasn’t a big enough problem for the Army, there’s another reason and perhaps the most worrisome one why it’s not meeting its recruiting goals.

In Middle America, there are still some Millennial men who are red-blooded patriots who, in prior times, would have been considering a military career, even a short-lived one before heading on to college. This last bastion of young men now view the Army as feminized to the point of no return.

Back in the 80’s, joining the military was still seen as a right of passage; something tough and macho to do.

How macho can an Army be that has lactating mothers expressing breast milk in the field?

Joining the Army is now longer seen as a right of passage to manhood. How can it be? Its ranks are filled with waddling women in Maternity Army Combat Uniforms.

In April, two events occurred during the same weekend that made the headlines: Retired Major General ‘Iron Mike’ Healy passed away at the age of 91. Healy, was a living legend in the Special Forces community; a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, he was the inspiration for John Wayne’s character, “Col. Iron Mike Kirby,” in the 1968 film “The Green Berets.”

While Healy was in-processing at Fiddler’s Green, a firestorm erupted online concerning a video showing Master Sgt. Robin Brown, a public affairs NCO with the Tennessee Air National Guard, as she recited her oath of re-enlistment using a dinosaur hand puppet in an April 13 video released on Facebook.

You don’t need reading glasses. Once again, the sergeant recited her oath with her right hand covered with a dinosaur puppet.

It gets worse…

Presiding over the ceremony was a Tennessee Air National Guard COLONEL, who failed to raise his right hand as he read the oath to the senior enlisted soldier.

Old US Military/New US Military

Paging General Mattis…

In the Spring of 2018, an anonymous letter written by several frustrated and disgusted Green Beret training cadre circulated on the Internet. The letter was confirmed as genuine by the PAO office at Fort Bragg.

As US Defense Watch reported:

Last week, Smoke Bomb Hill was hit by multiple barrages of shake and bake rounds fired for effect from the pen of one or more irate Green Beret training cadre, who have had enough of feather merchant officers lowering standards to accommodate weaklings and women.

Below are several passages from the 14 page anonymous letter:

To our fellow Active Duty and Veteran Green Berets,

Our Regiment has a cancer, and it is destroying the SF legacy, its capability, and its credibility. SWCS has devolved into a cesspool of toxic, exploitive, biased and self-serving senior Officers who are bolstered by submissive, sycophantic, and just-as-culpable enlisted leaders. They have doggedly succeeded in two things; furthering their careers, and ensuring that Special Forces more prolific, but dangerously less capable than ever before. Shameless and immodest careerism has, in no uncertain terms, effectively destroyed our ability to assess, train, and prepare students, or to identify those students that pose very real risk to Operational Detachments.

The actions of SWCS leadership have created a new era of Special Forces that are; increasingly incapable of actualizing SOF attributes; markedly and demonstrably weaker; and quantifiably projecting measurable risk and liability onto the teammates with which they serve.

The recent systematic dismissal of course standards and continuous violation of regulations at the Training Group and SWCS echelons makes student failure nigh impossible.

In the last 24 months, Commanders and/or Sergeants Major at the Group and SWCS level have systematically removed numerous fundamental SF standards, lowered and undermined the grading metrics for others, all while simultaneously ensuring that a gagged cadre population was expressly prohibited from holding students accountable for their academic, physical, and character performance.

The letter’s author(s) go on to get to the real point for the lowering of standards; something we knew was only a matter of time. Since no woman has made it through the Special Forces Q or qualification course in two years, it’s time to make the standards go away, so that even your 100 year old grandma with a walker could graduate.

The letter continues:

Regardless of one’s opinion on the topic, a universally accepted truth recognized by all parties is that if women yearn to join the force, they should meet the same standards achieved by those men they wish to serve with. Yet the current leadership has taken it upon themselves to inject an end state no one wants, to achieve personal endeavors that benefit no one. They have stated through continuous action and policy implementation that they do not want women to meet the standard. What they want is to markedly lower the standards enough to ensure that any woman attempting this path will have absolutely no issue achieving it. Consider the time-line of events:

What follows is a summary of the time line in the letter:

July 2017: MG Sonntag dismisses all SFOC (Special Forces Orientation Course) testable events. Students will take the physical tests, but they can no longer be relieved for them as they are considered diagnostics. Students can no longer fail SFOC except for Voluntarily Withdrawing or getting injured.

September 2017: All graded SFQC (Special Forces Qualification Course or the Q Course) PT events including the SFPA, APFT, diagnostic APFT’s, and Diagnostic SFPA’s still banned from being conducted. -Revision introduced that there will be ZERO graded physical tests.

November 2017: The culmination: It has just been announced that graduation for students will be held immediately after they graduate Robin Sage (culminating field exercise). Language phase is no longer a requirement for graduation. Aside from passing selection, there are LITERALLY no physical gates or standards required of students in order for them to graduate the Special Forces Qualification Course. This is the state of the entire SFQC as it stands today.

Students do not need to be able to pass a 2-mile run at an 80% standard. They do not need to pass a 5-mile run in under 40 minutes. They do not need to be able to pass a 12-mile ruck march in under 3 hours. They are not required to find ANY points during their land nav training and assessment.

They do not need to be able to perform 8 pull-ups. Translation, women don’t have the upper body strength to do pull ups, so forget that little requirement. Say goodbye to the old days where you couldn’t eat unless you knocked out ten pull ups.

They do not need to be able to perform 57 push-ups, or 66 sit-ups. They no longer need to be able to climb a 15 foot rope with weight on. Students are no longer administered any form of physical or administrative punishment. After passing a 19-ish day selection process, there are no physical barriers to earning the coveted Green Beret.

These all were standards for EVERY Green Beret in modern history prior to this month. To say that standards have not been eliminated would be laughable, were it not so tragic.

As long as one shows up for training, there is virtually no way to fail this training. Major General Sonntag said it best: “Once they’ve been selected, there is no reason they should fail a single portion of the Q-course.”

Finally, the author(s) conclude the letter with a desperate plea from desperate men who are watching one of the country’s and the world’s premier fighting and training forces literally be flushed down the toilet by politically correct martinets bowing to pressure from feminists.

This is the next generation of Special Forces. In just a few years, most of our regiment will be a product of this foundation. We will become a brotherhood of parasites: devoid of any real character, feeding off of the achievements those before us earned, and consuming the heritage as a whole. We can cure it, but it needs to happen now. We need to take back ownership of our profession. Help us fix this mess. The Regiment’s legacy depends on it.

The army’s response was typical and full of what soldiers like to call bravo sierra. Major General Sonntag, in a memorandum stated:

“Many of you have seen the anonymous letter calling into question the integrity of our training standards and the quality of the Soldiers being produced. Let me be clear, I would be proud to serve with each and every one of our Special Forces Qualification Course graduates, and I stand behind the quality of every Soldier we send to the operational force.”

The general went on to say that “no fundamental SF standard has been removed. No academic or character performance standards have been adjusted.”

The good general must be at a different Fort Bragg than the one being described by the author(s).

In a US Defense Watch article titled: Day of Delusion at the Pentagon in early April, US Defense Watch reported on the current state of the current state of PC, liberal delusion wafting through the US military now.

Here are several comments made by several female general officers during the Women Leadership Roundtable Discussion at the Pentagon on February 7, 2018, aka ‘The Day of Delusion.’

Major General Marion Garcia, commanding general for the 200th Military Police Command, shared her experiences with congressional staff delegates and fellow general officers at the Roundtable.

“I just know that the future leader of the Army is going to be a woman because that person is going to be infantry and come up through the ranks and do it. I know they can,” said Garcia.

The general officers conveyed how the military has changed since they first joined, discussed the stigma of pregnancy in some command environments and talked about balancing civilian life and their military careers while serving in the Army Reserve.

The military has not changed. It has self-destructed like one of Mr. Phelps’ reel to reel decks.

“It’s not easy raising kids while you’re doing this,” said Maj. Gen. Mary Link, commanding general, Army Reserve Medical Command.

“The Army Reserve has been very good as far as being able to balance those other priorities in my life,” said Brig. Gen. Lisa Doumont, commanding general, Medical Readiness and Training Command.

“I had twins, and then I was pregnant with my third son, so I said, ‘You know, I want to be around,’ so I left active duty and came into the Army Reserve. It’s been wonderful,” she said.

Absolutely! The Army exists to serve the needs of pregnant soldiers. And, with the Army’s new breastfeeding and lactation policies, pumping and storing breast milk in the field was never easier! Remember, to balance lactation support with readiness!

Lt. Col. Angela Wallace, public affairs officer, Army Reserve Medical Command and moderator for the event, opened the roundtable discussion and set the scene for the panel, stressing how America’s security thrives when relying on every service member’s talents, regardless of gender.

Lieutenant General Gwen Bingham, Army assistant chief of staff for Installation Management, recalls an earlier time when her male leaders reacted to her pregnant appearance.

“Whoa, what happened here? What’d you go and do that for?” and “Soldier! What kind of uniform are you wearing? Is that the right uniform?” Bingham repeated. “Today, the military services are more pregnancy friendly. Maternity uniforms are available for pregnant service members and pregnancies are no longer seen as a hindrance or inconvenience.”

No, no hindrance at all, general.

In a March article, the Military Times, also published by Pravda, reported that: ‘Fat Leonard’ wrongdoing not a definite career killer for Navy officers

So, fraud, corruption, kickbacks and espionage are no longer a means for sinking your career in the Navy?

The article stated: While the “Fat Leonard” scandal continues to reverberate across the Navy’s upper echelons, recently released records show that getting ensnared in the west Pacific web of corruption and kickbacks is not always a career killer.

In some cases, an officer is even lauded in the same letter discussing confirmed infractions, and is recommended to remain in command.

While the Navy is running aground on sand bars, the Air Force Academy, run by a militant lesbian, conducted a symposium in March that included lectures by a transgender couple, a Marxist, and a sex guru as models of good leadership and values.

Yeah, Hollywood values.

Then there’s the Marines. In an article titled, Where are the Female Marines?, the Marine Times reported in early March that the Marines wanted and needed more females in the combat arms.

Why?…

According to a Major Block, “There is no target number or quota for how many female Marines should be in ground combat fields or units; the focus is on combat effectiveness.”

Combat effectiveness? Blockhead should talk to Marines who fought in Fallujah, or at Hue, or at the Frozen Chosin’ or on Pelelieu and Iwo and ask them how women in the Marines’ combat arms would have added to their overall combat effectiveness.

Blockhead downed a vat of Pentagon Kool Aid and continued to rattle on: “We are systematically executing the Marine Corps Force Integration Plan.”

Block said the Corps’ approach to gender integration is not just focused on the number of women in combat billets but a force-wide endeavor that includes marketing and recruitment of top female talent and new efforts by the Corps that has male and female recruits training side by side, a first for the Marines.

As the Corps continues to push its gender integration plan it has been resolute on maintaining “standards, while leveraging every opportunity to optimize individual performance, talent, and skills in order to maximize the Corps’ warfighting capabilities,” Block said.

Back to the Air Force Academy…In February, the Denver Post reported that Air Force Academy apologizes for “microaggressions” after email about haircuts veers into talk about Michael Jordan.

Apparently, the incident started when Master Sgt. Zachary Parish sent an email to cadets complaining about haircuts that didn’t comply with Air Force regulations. As the top enlisted airman over the cadet wing, Parish said he wants cadets to keep their hair trimmed.

“It’s unfortunate that a small percentage of cadets who fail to maintain their hair appropriately cast a negative impression that’s reflected on the entire … cadet population and armed service members at large,” Parish wrote in an email that later hit Facebook and was confirmed as authentic by the academy.

A stinging rebuke was quickly issued in an email sent by Col. Julian Stevens, vice-commandant of cadets at the academy.

“Let me apologize for the email sent earlier today by our first sergeant,” Stevens wrote. “The comments were very disrespectful, derogatory and in no way reflective of (cadet wing) permanent party views.”

“Microagressions such as these are often blindspots/unintentional biases that are not often recognized, and if they are recognized they are not always addressed,” Stevens wrote.

“The comments were inappropriate,” the academy said in an email. “We have a responsibility for how we communicate and if anyone feels disrespected by someone’s words, we take that very seriously. We need to take responsibility immediately and learn from it as we move forward.

Stevens sounds like a real warrior, the type the US military is oozing in 2018.

Finally, CNS News reported in February that the Army was dropping its hand grenade competency requirement at basic training, along with land navigation.

Apparently, getting recruits to pass the grenade requirement was taking “too much time” and they’re just not strong enough, Major General Malcolm Frost told reporters on Friday.

Changes to the Army’s Basic Combat Training (BTC) will eliminate the current hand grenade proficiency standards as a requirement for graduation, Military.com reports:

“The new BCT does, however, do away with hand grenade qualification and land navigation course qualification as graduation requirements.”

Discussing the change with reporters, Maj. Gen. Frost explained that training recruits to pass the current requirement was taking too much time:

“What we have found is it is taking far, far too much time. It’s taking three to four times as much time … just to qualify folks on the hand grenade course than we had designated so what is happening is it is taking away from other aspects of training.”

Plus, trainees just aren’t strong enough to throw the grenade far enough away – and simply can’t be taught to properly throw a grenade “if they haven’t thrown growing up” – Maj. Gen. Frost explained:

“We are finding that there are a large number of trainees that come in that quite frankly just physically don’t have the capacity to throw a hand grenade 20 to 25 to 30 meters. In 10 weeks, we are on a 48-hour period; you are just not going to be able to teach someone how to throw if they haven’t thrown growing up.”

No need to know how to throw a grenade and read a map in the Army is there.

That was only six months’ worth of PC, Diversity and Leftist Destruction in the US Military. It has been going on for nearly 20 years and went into warp speed during the reign of Obama. Just imagine what will be taking place in the next six months.

Your military leaders are lying to you. They are telling you that the what is taking place in the military is seemingly normal and that everything is running smoothly.

It is all a gigantic lie, a Potemkin Village waiting to be burnt down, a US Government, machine fabricated Quonset hut of cards that will collapse the moment the first green tracer rounds go down range in anger at our vanguard of crack, female, transgender and weak Millennial troops. It is all a mammoth Pinocchio. Feminists know it. Leftists know it. The generals know it. The Secretary of Defense knows it. Yet, it continues to metastasize like an unstoppable cancer.

Liberals applaud all of it as some kind of 21st Century civil rights crusade tantamount to a Dr. King march. What it is really tantamount to is national suicide.

Our national security is now being run on a fantasy, completely devoid of reality.

God help us all.

The fantasy:

The reality:

Without a strong military to help prop up our fiat currency we’re doomed. The left destroys everything they touch.

When men no longer protect society then cities are fair game for destruction. Women soldiers make it imperative to destroy civilians because the distinction is blurred so destroying manpower is a relevant reason to make no distinction between military targets and civilian targets since there is no longer a difference.

“The left destroys everything they touch.”

Where is the right in all this? Yes, it’s Leftists pushing this crap, but no one, and I mean NO ONE, is fighting. The entire officer corps across ALL the services has capitulated and the few NCOs who have any integrity are seething but impotent. The best are being forced out while the worst are promoted.

Seriously though, it’s a self-correcting problem. Unfortunately, many of our troops will die before then and of course, there is that petty problem that the country will fall, but at least we’ll fall with equally.
