James Comey belongs in jail FOR LIFE, period. It’s that simple. Anyone who went along with him / helped him / helped cover his tracks deserves the same.

Comey’s a catspaw. Who’s holding the leash?

In the latter seasons of the X-Files, Cary Elwes played a corrupted Assistant FBI director. If the episodes were produced today, I would swear the character was based on Comey.

The last time that I checked, Acts of Treason are still capital crimes.

Let’s have him remit his “{If} I Did It” revenue as well.

Aren't they still punishable by death?

I believe so.

The problem is in finding a prosecutor that has the guts, integrity and determination to file those charges and then prosecute.

All you need to do is watch how Comey the girly teenage drama queen walks across the room from hiding behind the drapes to shake the President’s hand. Once you see it, you KNOW he’s guilty of spying on Trump - his body language gives it away.

True. With corruption so rampant and deep in our Government the chances of finding a prosecutor with the balls and integrity are somewhere at or near zero.

I often wonder if we're past the point of several million well armed men taking the District of Corruption and fixing this problem the only way it can be fixed now .....

Tar. Feathers. Rope. High Tree Limbs. Apply liberally.

I am afraid that what you say is true. I’m sure as hell not seeing any way to avoid that.

Yes, carried away sentencing.

But I am weary of the claims that the sentencing guidelines of that era were “racist”. I recall well the urgency with which black community leaders asked for a harsh crackdown on crack much more than for regular cocaine—because crack was destroying their neighborhoods much more than regular cocaine did. Crack was a special scourge they wanted to have the law come down on at all costs.

It wasn’t pols from pristine, white suburbs pushing for harsher crack sentences.

Did Comey represent the Department of Justice with his conclusion that Hillary committed no crime?

My answer is that, by definition, no, because that’s not his job. Loretta Lynch is the one to make that decision.

The focus should be not on Comey, but on why Lynch allowed Comey’s utterance be the DOJ position.

The standard is not ‘criminally negligent’. The statute requires only a showing of gross negligence, a standard which Comey manifestly believed Hillary met, as evidenced by the initial draft of his statement. Priestap changed the wording.

Treason has no statute of limitations. But, it’s a very high prosecutorial hill to climb.
