"One America News Network" reporter Pearson Sharp reports on his visit to Douma, Syria after it was taken back by the Syrian government from "The Army of Islam" rebels who held it.
Robert Fisk wasn't the only reporter to visit Douma, Syria on Monday. A reporter for the "One America News Network" had the opportunity to go around and ask questions and look for evidence of the "chemical attack" alleged to have occurred April 7th.
Here are some more excerpts of the report:
It was that square......the terrorists claim was hit by the chemicals and so I walked around it. There was some mortars that had exploded in the concrete. But nothing looked like a chemical attack and when I asked the people there. There were soldiers there. There were military police there.
They said they'd been stationed there for awhile and they hadn't seen anything that day. They did point out to me that there was hospital nearby, right off the square actually that had a basement like two or three stories underground where there was an emergency field hospital used by the terrorists to treat their wounded......"
"there were still doctors there taking care of people but now those doctors are working for the government instead of working for Jaish el Islam.....I spoke to one of the doctors in training and he was on staff on duty at the time of the attack, that day. I asked him what he saw that day and he told me that it was a routine day for him. It was very dusty that day. A lot of people were coming in coughing just irritation in the throat.........
While they were going about their rounds suddenly out of nowhere a bunch of strangers burst the room screaming that there was chemical attack and they started hosing. They brought in allegedly victims and they started hosing them down with water. And so the doctors, they freaked out and grabbed hoses and started helping and stuff.
And the strangers who brought in the victims were videotaping everything....and as soon as they had washed everybody off and stuff they packed up and they left and that was the end of it.....they didn't see any indication that there was a chemical attack.....the people that came in looked totally normal......"

This whole chemical weapon use thing has been hard for me to believe since the very first story came in years ago. I feel like we’re living in 1984 and this is our perpetual war. I honestly do not know who to believe but if I were a betting man I would bet that Assad did not use chemical weapons. He is not a stupid man and the risk would be way too high, as he is learning, yet again (or already knew).

The article states that the reporter got his information from a couple of unidentified people about a hospital basement that “used to be” used by terrorist groups to tend to their wounded, and is now under control of the government that supposedly initiated the attack. The “doctor” they talked to said it was a normal day.
What is normal, was he there at the time of the alleged attack since it disapates so fast, and has a Syrian or middle eastern person, to the media, told the truth over the last 50 plus years? Especially one that represents the government in question.

Yes, but it’s one of many articles that say the same basic thing. I understand the whole “fog of war” thing, but since we no longer trust either our FedGov OR the MSM, we really don’t know what to believe any more. And until we do, I don’t think we should be there. Some nice satellite photos of the region would be groovy. Heck, the google image of my property in the sticks shows my wife and neighbor talking to each other while standing next to our truck. Surely our government can supply the proof we need to give them our blessing to carry out such dramatic attacks.

Nothing new here.
Clinton’s bombing of the Al-Shifa Pharmaceutical Factory in Khartoum North, Sudan, in 1998, is another example of what we don’t know, won’t hurt us. One side said, and still says, there were chemical weapons there, while the other side says we hit a aspirin factory killing a night watchman and injuring 7 others. What we do know for sure is nothing. Did we hit it or did they blow it up to keep it from being detected? Did anyone die or get hurt? Is the government of Sudan lying? (I’ll wait for you to catch your breath)
On the same note, can we trust the media to tell the truth? Can we trust the government to tell us the media told us the truth? Can we trust the government to tell it, either? American agencies like the CIA and NSA? I would consider Russian sources more reliable than these agencies run by liars and frauds.
Military intelligence? I would lean towards trusting them more.
