Some will be assisted with filled beyond capacity trains.
This is similar to what happened in 2014.
Decisions are going to have to be made very soon on how to react to this newest invasion.
Trump threatens certain action, but often capitulates at the last minute; i.e. the (unvetoed) Omnibus Bill.
Or withholding certain federal funds from sanctuary cities.
Most the cities are being funded anyway.
I understand the president cannot act alone on such issues.

Drop the bridges in front of them and, if necessary, strafe and bomb them.
If Mexico complains, remind them that letting invaders pass through their country to the US is an act of war.

Marines are an expeditionary force, and the don't have the fat to cut from to occupy/seal a border. Bringing in an infantry division from Kansas (which is outdated- we are not fighting Indians anymore), for duty on the border is practical, and serves as a national statement.
No way they reach San Diego in weeks. Those would have to be some super human speedy gonzalezes!

I wonder a bit at the same. Guess he troll with it for a bit to stir things up, then act. Or, better act. Hopefully he does so in a manner that won’t get stopped by the courts before it gets started. I’m tired of the theatrics—just deploy the troops and kill anyone that crosses the border illegally. End it now. Give no quarter, no amnesty to anyone crossing the Mexican border.

Well how many miles are they averaging a day? It is still going to take a few months to reach Texas.
President Trump is asking Congress to overturn the Obama-era laws that form the “catch and release” mess that endangers every one of us and encourages this invasion. Meanwhile, Mexico better stop encouraging this act of war lest it get hot.
