Amen to that...
The comments are even better. The first one is from the mother of a violent child. And spare me the children are a reflection of the parents...we have gone SO far beyond that in this Country.
At this point in our history we don't know enough about brain chemistry to be mucking with it... I totally agree with you on that...
The bad child-rearing starts very young. In my neighborhood which is basically white and middle class, parents allow screaming misbehaving children in public everywhere. The small restaurants are always chaotic with bad behavior which is ignored by the parents. It is especially bad if there is no adult male in the group.
By the time the kids get to be teenagers, with no male authority, children seem to often become monsters. There is a high incidence of female teenage pregnancies and apparently a high incidence of male teenagers with violent tendencies.
Destruction of the nuclear family, which has been planned for maybe 80 years by the Communist Party, has had the desired effects of creating societal chaos.
The parents are both so busy working that the kids are on their own, or raised by nannies. They are like day-care parents with little ones; they ASK them what they want instead of parenting them. Can’t do that with 5 year olds; can’t do it with 13 year olds either. Lots of divorced families too; where I tutor, kids will often say, “I left my textbook in my dad’s car but I am at my mom’s until Thursday.” They don’t have ONE home that is theirs - a bedroom here/ a bedroom there. Not good for kids.
I heard that this particular shooter, however, was always coddled; pish, that will do it too. Plus mental from birth I bet.
Let us know how that goes.
I shared it on my wall too.
