I have the 9mm version and love shooting it. Fairly accurate and recoil is nothing. Again the only downside is the small magazine size that comes with the piece.
I have a .45 ACP pistol that has a 15 round standard magazine. It's double-stacked, of course, but only 9-rounds for a semi-auto "black" carbine with removable magazines seems like a major "minus" to me. A 20-25 round double-stacked magazine would make the weapon much more desirable to me.
Of course, if it is really as difficult to disassemble as the review says it is, then I would not be interested in it anyway.
Are they really as difficult to disassemble as the reviewer says?
I’m hoping for a .45ACP version of the new Ruger PC Takedown (currently available in 9mm). If they do the interchangeable magazine well feature on the .45, it might be able to use either 1911 or Glock mags.
Marlin Campgun in .45acp.
Hipoint carbines are accurate and very reliable. They also have a lifetime no questions asked guarantee. No matter what stupid thing you do to break the gun they repair it for free and will send you 2 free mags for your trouble. The worst thing about them (besides looks) is the mushy trigger which has no clean break. It feels similar to a DAO trigger but less consistant.
I prefer the Thompson for a long arm .45 ACP.

Id love to find one of those.

I should have bought one when they were $135
Great if you can FIND one.
Marlin should make them again or someone should build a clone.

I had a chance to buy a used one years ago. But my wife was expecting Lurker Jr. and the funds just werent there. I should have bitten the bullet and let her bitch. She did that about everything anyway.

My dad owns a pristine one. Fired maybe a hundred rounds through it. He carries it with his 1911A1 since mags are interchangeable. He paid $350 for it new; gun show prices are around $1200 - many 9mm’s but nobody wants them.
The more I hear about them I’m glad my dad didn’t sell his. It’s pristine, looks like it just came out of the box.
It takes standard 1911 magazines, too. Sure wish Id bought it when I had the chance.

Just ordered RUGER PC9.... $530.
Giddy’Up!
Yep Im hoping for a 45 Ruger carbine taking Glock mags too. I have a 45 HiPoint and it is a GREAT pcc for the money...ugly and low capacity but utterly reliable and accurate.
Could have doubled or tripled your money and had some fun to boot!
